Awesome LAKE front cottage offers relaxation and fun! Great for Families!

La Vida Loca Cottage offers a relaxing get-a-way and lake front enjoyment. The house is perfect for leisure weekends as well as fun venue for entertaining the family for a week with kayaking, boat rentals nearby for water sports and fishing from the dock.

The southern exposure on open water, and wrap around covered porch is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the predominantly southern breeze. A fresh cup of coffee in the morning on the deck overlooking the lake is a must. The cottage offers a large living area with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, expansive windows, a spacious well-appointed kitchen, and large informal dining bar. Outside the approximately 800 square feet of decking creates the perfect outdoor environment where you and lucky guests will enjoy east facing open water views and unlimited entertainment possibilities. In addition, there is a private boathouse with large sun deck.

We have 2 Kayaks that are available for our guests use.

The house is in a clean and safe well-maintained neighborhood.

Family Vacation

Home was very spacious and nice. The view from the back porch was priceless of the water. Nice neighborhood. Was a family vacation so rented the house next door, which made it very convenient. Was a vacation to remember.

Family Girls Trip

Great Vacation Home

We had a great stay, clean and comfortable. We stayed in for dinners, good selection of dishes, cookware, etc. Only stayed 2 nights this trip but will definitely return to this lovely home. Kids loved the yard to play in and also the air hockey table! Would highly recommend this home for future stays!

Girls getaway

We so enjoyed Vida Loca and had a wonderful and relaxing time and already have said we would love to go back! The detail to all the cute decor really made the home pleasant and we actually took pictures to remember all the little touches. The host was wonderful!

Relaxing weekend away

This place was open, relaxing and enjoyable. My only criticism is to add a screen door to the back and front door to allow that amazing morning breeze to blow through the house while enjoying a cup of morning coffee. This place was exactly what we were looking for. A+++++ property.

Gorgeous view

We had a pleasant stay. The house is nice and cutely decorated. The patio is amazing with a spectacular view of the lake. It's on a fairly quite stretch of the lake and the neighbors that were around over the weekend we're nice. Kids enjoyed swimming off the private dock Very nice place to soclally distance while enjoying your vacation

Wedding weekend

Because we were here for a nearby wedding, we didn’t have time to really enjoy this great house. It is clean, the kitchen is very well stocked and the beds are comfy. We want to come back so that we can really enjoy the lake and the beautiful open water lake view.

Perfect getaway!

We loved this house! It was exactly as pictured on the website. The owners really have thought of everything to make it comfortable and easy to relax. There was plenty of room--both indoors and out--for our large group of eight adults. We would definitely come back!

Family Weekend

This was just a quick family weekend get together. It was great that my grandson could play in the water right in front of the house. Even though the water is down in the lake we were still able to bring our pontoon boat right up to the dock.

Perfect Get-Away from Dallas!

This Property is wonderful. We stayed three nights and had the most relaxing time. We canoed, grilled, watched the sun rise and set, swam in the lake, laughed and had one of the most carefree times in a while. The back porch is just perfect, offering enough shade throughout the hot days to cool off. Marcie was gracious throughout and made us feel welcome. We plan on coming back again to the same spot if we can. Thanks again for offering us your home; we enjoyed it!

Amazing Short Vacation

We just wrapped up an amazing 3 day getaway. I hope we can return again soon! The homeowner was so great and easy to deal with. Marcie was friendly, professional, and communicated in a timely manner. She was helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations! The home was clean. The location was perfect. My days started and ended with a perfect view of the lake!! My family is revived and full of joy after such a great trip in a cute house on beautiful land and a beautiful lake!!!

Why they chose this property

We named this house 'La Vida Loca' (The crazy life) because there is so much to do. No mater what time of year there are many activities to enjoy around Cedar Creek Lake. What we like most though is sitting and enjoying nature from the porch. There is a great deal of wildlife around the lake-- birds, fish and animals. The lake is a stopping off point for many birds as they migrate for the different seasons. The porch faces Southeast so it is shaded in the afternoon. In the summer there is usually a nice breeze. The sunrises in the mornings can be spectacular.

What makes this property unique

Excellent water! There are two large swings on the back porch, and a sitting area on the dock. The water is good for swimming, boating, water skiing and fishing.
