Our spacious home is waterfront with fabulous views of the lake! Located in a gated community, it is comfortable and inviting..The large family room downstairs is perfect for cozy gatherings and movie nights with comfortable seating and amazing views of the lake. Our large screen TV is set up with Roku for streaming. There is a formal living area just off the kitchen where you can relax, read a book, or enjoy visiting with friends and family.
Readers will enjoy the cozy and comfortable reading nooks. The 2nd floor master bedroom has a king bed and beautiful en suite bath. The soaking tub is heavenly! Connected to the master suite is an outside covered veranda overlooking the lake with two rocking chairs for your enjoyment. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths downstairs, both with queen beds. Extra care has been taken with the linens to maximize your comfort. The 4th bedroom has a a quad bunk bed system with pull out trundle bed and a fold out Futon. It is also equipped with a foosball table. The open deck is great for entertaining with chairs, tables, a bistro bar and a large charcoal grill. A fire pit on the lake side is a great place to hang out and roast marshmallows, play guitars and tell ghost stories! Our boathouse with upstairs party deck has been completely remodeled including composit decking.
We have 2 kayaks that you are welcome to use for fun on the water.
There is a community boat ramp nearby and also a playground area for the kids.
Come for the great fishing, water sports, fun in the sun, or just to get away from it all. We look forward to your visit!

Great Family Vacation

This was a very clean and accommodating house! We had a great time with a toddler and our teenagers. We kayaked, jumped from the dock, enjoyed the view, and sat by the bonfire at night. There was so much room for everyone, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook & grill, and they even provided plenty of beach towels. The view was amazing and the master room/bathroom was relaxing. We can’t wait to go back again and the host was very sweet and helpful!

Peaceful Getaway

Wonderful getaway for our family. The house was cozy and tidy, beautifully redone master bedroom and bath. Saw the neighborhood deer daily and the kids loved the playground within the community with its own fishing dock for a change of scenery. Peaceful lake, peaceful home, and the best view.

We had a great time! This was our second time at this house and we will be back again! Kathryn is great and responds to all questions promptly. The house is very clean and we couldn't ask for anything more. Great for fishing, swimming and boating. I highly recommend this home.

Coolest breeze in Texas!

We celebrated my parents 60th anniversary and they renewed their vows in the backyard by the lake. The house was beautiful and a perfect layout for the 6 of us. We spent most of our time in the backyard enjoying the breeze and the view of the lake. Even though it was 100F in Dallas and everywhere around us, the shaded backyard was always pleasant. It was perfect for our family celebration!

Spring Break 2021

We stayed here in March 2021. Did a little fishing, fire pit at night, and played lots of games with family. The 9-hole putt-putt course across the street was a big hit with the kids as well. We did have a little trouble with the gas oven in the kitchen coming up to temp, but the property manager was very prompt in responding to that issue. All things considered it was a very enjoyable time for us.

Amazing Trip

We booked this lake house to celebrate my 40th Birthday weekend with family and friends. It is absolutely beautiful and just as pictured. There was plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and relax. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals minus the food. The back yard and lake views are incredible. We spent our days relaxing on the dock or kayaking and our evenings by lakeside by the fire pit. The owner was open with communication and followed up with any needs we may have had. We highly recommend this property.

Best property on cedar creek so far!

Great house! Spacious and comfortable! Kathy was amazing! So helpful. Master bedroom was huge. Loved the updated bathrooms. The super long deck was great for cooking out and the screened in porch was a perfect getaway from any critters. Big kitchen with plenty of pots pans and utensils The dock was our favorite hangout at sunset and for my sunrise coffee. We were able to have a boat excursion pick us up right from the dock which was so awesome. I’d say this house was my favorite places I’ve stayed at on cedar creek so far!

Great Family Weekend

We rented the house to have a place to stay while attending a family reunion nearby. We had two families and it accomodated us well. The house was very clean and had a lot extras in it that I don't see in other VRBO rentals (I've rented more than 10). It was great to come home in the evening and sit on the shady deck overlooking the water or take a dip in the lake from the very nice dock. The only thing that could have been better was a few more towels and maybe some improved cooking pans. The Neighbor hood had a great little playground across the street, including a 9 hole miniture golf course. The owner was very very nice and accomodating. One of the nicest I have encountered. Great stay!!

Crazy but Wonderful Vacation

Loved this property! We had some absolutely crazy weather the entire 7 days we stayed here. From tons of rain to storms to hail (3 times on 3 different days) to strong winds and lightning so needless to say, we spent a lot of time indoors. Kathy was amazing, always checking on us and informing us of damaging weather coming in and tending to our needs if we had any. She really took care of us. The dock was amazing for those times we couldn't get on the water. Swimming, fishing, laying and jumping off the top deck was a big part of our stay due to the weather so having that nice dock was a game changer here. The house was spacious enough for 12 of us which was great. I made some easy suggestions to the house manager Kathy on a few possible additions/improvements that would make this house even more perfect for a large group as we ran into a few snags being inside a lot more than usual but of course Ms. Kathy appreciates feedback and invites suggestions from her guests to make each and every stay as wonderful as possible. Great memories were made! We will be back next year :)
