Located on the edge of Cruz Bay and the National Park (near Mongoose Junction), this two bedroom two bath villa sleeps up to 5 (with day bed). Full kitchen, gas grill, washer & dryer. Pleasant quiet neighborhood. with amazing sunset views! No A/C - but we do have ceiling fans and standing fans.

Relax on Guavaberry Hill's Porch - with beautiful sunset views overlooking Cruz Bay towards St. Thomas and the sunset. Close to town - close to National Park and beaches.

Excellent view and spacious for a family of 4

The villa was clean and close to downtown. The birds at night would sing for hours. It felt as if we were TOTALLY ALONE in the jungle. We will DEFINITELY be back.

First USVI Trip

We loved Guavaberry Hill. Was perfect for our family of four. Enjoyed the mildly challenging but short walk into town for meals. The view from the patio was fantastic. Finally, the easy drive to many beaches in the National Park made for a memorable family vacation.

I will start with Jackie the property manager met us at the ferry and brought us to the house. Thank god because walking up the hill with our luggage wiuld have been hell since we didnt get in until well after dark. The house was in a great location and easy access to hop o. The road to head to

Fabulous villa with great location, property manager, and view!!!

Villa was so convenient to Cruz Bay shopping, restaurants, and beaches! One suggestion would be portable cooling/ window units in bedrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Picturesque and Private

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and well stocked. Everything is walking distance but we were glad to have a rental car as it is a very steep walk and it was still very hot while we were there. It was nice to have Jackie meet us at the ferry and give us a ride to the place. I was a little concerned about not having any A/C for sleeping at night but I found having a few of the big fans running and aimed right at the bed kept me cool and comfortable enough. Overall I thought it was a great location and a very nice place!

We've stayed at this property several times and it always is the perfect stay. Sunsets on thedeck are memorable. The bedrooms afford plenty of privacy. We love the Carribean atmosphere of the house.

Private Get Away and Beautiful Views

Guavaberry Hill is spacious and has beautiful sunset views. The location is convenient for Cruz Bay and to the National Park. Jackie was a delight to work with when we booked and checking in.

Our stay Guavaberry Hill was quite simply perfect for us. We found the location, beautiful property, and amazing views just lovely. We immediately booked the property again for next year….but for longer!

Guava berry Hill is exactly as advertised. The view of Cruz Bay is breathtaking both day and night. It was the perfect location for ease of visiting the beaches daily and Cruz Bay.

Guavaberry Hill

Jackie and her staff were amazing. Michele met us at the dock, took us to the property, and gave us some insightful information about grabbing groceries, must do activities, and how to get around while on the island.They also kept us informed about the times of potential power outages so that we could plan ahead.Our favorite thing about the property is the spacious patio. We enjoyed our time eating breakfast and late dinners on the patio. The view is incredible. As stated in the listing, this property does not have air conditioning. While many reviews stated this was not a problem, be aware that while the morning and evening hours are comfortable, it was very hot during the hours from 2 PM to 6:30 PM in our opinion. This is especially true if there is a power outage during this time that prevents the fans from working.The proximity of this house to Cruz Bay is amazing. We did not rent a car during our stay, but found it very easy to catch a taxi from Mongoose Junction to anywhere we wanted to go. Be aware that if you don't have a vehicle while on the island, the climb from Mongoose Junction to the property is quite steep. It was doable for us, but steep.We look forward to working with Jackie and Michele again during our next stay.

Property has a great location with a beautiful view of Cruz bay. Very clean. Bed in main house very comfortable. Has everything you need for a lovely stay. Recommend this property to anyone visiting St. John.

A week in St John

Jackie was incredibly helpful with our check in and the place was lovely. Wonderful balcony views and great to have things like beach chairs and floats. Definitely recommend having a (small) rental car because climbing the hill in the heat was brutal

Hidden gem!

We loved our stay here. It’s close to everything! Jackie was very helpful and super nice! She even bought us ice, some crackers, cheese, water....to have when we arrived. This place was exactly what we wanted for our vacation there. We definetely recommend this place. Thank you Jackie for everything!!

Way better than the listing

The listing on vrbo doesn't do this property justice. It's large, with two buildings, and a huge patio facing the water between St. John and St. Thomas (which is also the direction the sun sets). We had a great time visiting, and this property was perfect for the 4 of us.

Fantastic view and convenient location!!

We stayed 1week at this property. It’s very private and very close to the main town. We rented a Jeep but we walked down to the town a couple times and it was manageable with an 8 years old. We even walk to the closest beach trail. There are plenty restaurants nearby and we enjoyed a few of the restaurants at the mall. This location was perfect for us because it was very easy to visit beautiful beaches from this property.

We really enjoyed our stay at Guavaberry Hill. It's 3 min from downtown Cruz Bay on foot. The location is awesome. The kitchen was user-friendly and met our needs. The guest room with the two twin beds made it that we weren't cramped on top of each other. It has no AC, but the fans do a good job. We would happily stay there again

Perfect Location

First off, the listing does not do this property justice. The villa is in a PERFECT location, just up the hill from the quaint Mongoose Junction, and overlooks the amazing sunsets from your very private deck. The property is spacious, clean, and fully stocked. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended our visit by 4 nights! We will be back soon!

The most wonderful stay!

We had an AMAZING stay at guavaberry hill... It was picture perfect in every way. We loved that the bedrooms were detached and that the porch was massive with amazing views. Could walk to Mongoose Junction in less than 5 mins, Cruz Bay ferry dock in about 8-10. Be mindful it is up a steep hill so having a car was great!! The house had everything we needed except for shampoo and conditioner :) I cannnot wait to stay here again in the future!

Home Away From Home

We had an amazing A+ experience staying at this villa. From check-in to check-out, Jackie the property manager was hospitable, accommodating, and kind -- she made us feel right at home! The villa is in a great location, just up the hill from Mongoose Junction, and overlooks a beautiful daily sunset. The property is spacious, clean, includes all amenities you may need during your stay (e.g., cookware, beach gear), and is full of thoughtful little touches throughout. We also loved the little neighborhood cat that would visit us on the balcony. Will definitely be staying here again during our next trip to St. John!
