Blue Ruin was so perfect—beautiful and full of life and character. Was very comfortable for our family. We loved it– would definitely recommend and book again!

Charming beach home

We had 6 adults and loved being able to all be in one home. The home is on Bay Street which is a great location to walk anywhere. Bay Street can be noisy if you are looking for a quiet vacation. The home is even prettier in person than the online photos. We had access to kayaking right off the dock and there’s a pool. We did see sharks circling near the dock so beware. There’s a lovely patio and a cheerful den to read or relax on. Housekeeper was wonderful and she and the manager helped with any needs we had. We loved that pool chairs and umbrellas were provided as well as beach towels and sunscreen! I would definitely stay there again and would recommend the property. There’s a baby bed and day bed so any ages could be accommodated.

The perfect Bahamian experience

If you want to be centrally located, and you appreciate the authentic charm of a Bahamian style villa, this home is for you! The owners have clearly decorated and lived in the house with deep love and appreciation for local style and objects. The pool is the perfect place for an afternoon dip, with lovely sunsets as a backdrop. The bedrooms were utterly charming and comfortable. We also particularly enjoyed the bar/den area, for evening cocktails and ocean view. Really it was the perfect place to stay, we walked to the beach and to all the town's restaurants with ease. I would definitely stay here again!!!
