When you drive up to Misty Hollow you’ll be pleased to discover the flat, paved parking area out front that makes it so convenient to unload your car. Walk through the front door into a large living room loaded with windows. A stacked stone wood-burning fireplace and a comfy couch and loveseat await you. Settle in and watch your flat-screen TV with cable and a Blu-Ray player. Beautiful wood plank floors and a cathedral ceiling make this room a wonderful, welcoming space where you’ll spend many a happy hour.

Walk through the sliding glass doors out onto your large wrap-around deck where you have a beautiful view of the Great Smoky Mountains. This is also where you’ll find your bubbling hot tub. After a day of hiking or golf, this hot tub will be just what your body needs to soothe aching muscles. The deck also has a charcoal/smoker grill and chairs where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail as the listen to the wrens, finches and maybe a whippoorwill.

If you don’t want to cook while on vacation, you certainly shouldn’t. There are about 60 restaurants in and around Gatlinburg that would love to have you visit. However, if you’d like to cook in your mountain home, Misty Hollow provides a fully equipped kitchen with all the serving ware, appliances and cookware you need to prepare great meals for your family. Just pick up ingredients at the local grocery. There’s a market near Misty Hollow where you can pick up firewood and even a yummy pizza if you want. There is a bedroom and bathroom on each of the three floors at Misty Hollow. On the lower floor, you’ll find a queen-size bed with its own private bathroom with a shower/tub combination. The lower floor also has a couch, loveseat and pool table along with a large TV. If your party includes a baby, you’ll find a Pack-n-Play in the lower bedroom. The lower floor is also where you’ll find the Misty Hollow laundry room. No need to drive down to a Laundromat. You can just toss in a load of clothes and get on with your day.

On the main floor, you’ll find the second bedroom. This one featuring a king-sized bed with large windows and plenty of closet storage. There’s also a TV positioned for late night viewing and a bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and vanity with plenty of storage.

Upstairs is the Misty Hollow primary suite and what a peaceful retreat it is. Settle into your luxurious king-sized bed and watch a little TV. Or simply gaze out through your sliding glass door and large window onto your private deck. What a joy it is to slip out and listen to the birds singing each morning. You also have a Jacuzzi bath in the primary with a window overlooking the glorious mountain view.
