Nice experience, good communication with owner. Pet friendly retreat! Hot tub was fabulous in the mornings when it was cool outside!Definitely stay here again.
Very nice property. Plenty of room and the bedrooms are comfortable. Cabin is on a very steep incline so be aware the driveway is very narrow and steep. The place is clean but is an older property showing a bit of wear and tear. View from the deck is the neighborhood below. Easy and quick drive to the Gatlinburg main strip and close to Pigeon Forge. No coffee/tea amenity offered so make sure you bring your own supplies. Cleaning service doesn't leave much in the way of paper towel or toilet paper/garbage bag supplies either. We did see bears. One even came up on the deck during the night and motion lights let us know he/she was there.
We were visiting Smoky National Park as a family and absolutely loved this place - it was very convenient and close to both the downtown areas and the national park. The house itself was very cozy and a family of 5 of us were able to stay very comfortably. If you have a larger car, just be aware that the driveway is a bit steep and narrow but nothing impossible.
We had a nice (though too short) stay. The property met our needs as a family, and would stay here again. Do be warned that two of the bedrooms on the second floor are only accessible via a very tall staircase, so if you have mobility issues be aware.
Our stay was great loved the property!!! Has a few encounters with bears my son forgot to lock his car n a bear let itself in the car n took a bite out of a couple of things. And let itself out the other car door. On the day we left my husband went to take the trash to to trash bin and saw a bear
We really enjoyed our stay. We spent family time together, ate food, grilled, watched movies, and played games. We did Ripley's attraction. Overall it was a great stay.
This cabin has the perfect combination of both privacy and conveniencey. Very close to Gatlinburg, grocery store, and the park. We enjoyed our stay and will be coming back again!
We had a great anniversary getaway! The cabin was a perfect distance from town. Check in was really easy and the cabin was clean and equipped with everything we needed.
We enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub
It is a bit off the beaten track which is nice, to escape the downtown crowds
Close enough to drive in to the strip and walk around. Not walking distance for sure, but quiet and a nice get away! Roomy enough for a family to enjoy!
The cabin was exactly what we needed. Very easy to get to. Easy access to Gatlinburg. Amy gave great suggestions on hiking, activities in town, and restaurants. Thank oyu.
Honestly the place could use a good deep clean, maintenance and some updating but overall we had a great time and the house worked for our family. If you plan to spend more time at the house, you may want to find something nicer. We literally just needed somewhere to sleep and shower for the weekend as the kids kept us very busy, so we just wiped everything down when we arrived.
The updates by the new owners are impressive. I would recommend some more modernization and a couple of other updates however we were very pleased with the property, the communication and really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely build it again.

It was okay
Agree with other reviewers that the property needs a deep clean and some renovations/updates. The stove had a single working burner. They came out and fixed the others by inserting the burners at a 30 degree angle? The location is nice but definitely not within walking distance of anything.
We had wonderful stay. The cabin fit our needs perfectly. We had 7 adults and a toddler. Everyone had a place to sleep and if we pulled up an extra chair we could all ist at the table. The cabin was very clean and very nice. There were a few miner thing that need fixed like the towel rack in the master bath was missing, but nothing that affected our stay at all. It was definitely wonderful to come back at the end of the day and soak soar muscles in the hot tube. Great Cabin for families.
Three bedrooms. 2 King bedrooms and a bunk bed in bedroom 3. The air conditioning cooled the house well and the fans upstairs kept it very comfortable in the summertime. Long dining room table to eat together. 3 TV's, one in the living room, 2 in the King bedrooms. Everything as advertised. Quiet area around the cabin. Highly recommend!
