It is conveniently located between Ennis and West Yellowstone near the intersection of highway 287 and highway 87. This 20 acre property is about 50 miles southeast of Ennis and 32 miles northwest of the entrance to Yellowstone National Park.

Sheep Creek Cabin B features a nicely appointed kitchen and dining area. We just installed brand new heat and ac units to keep the temperature perfect no matter the weather outside!! Wildlife abounds at times on the property as well as numerous places close by. Some of the creatures that can be seen from the cabin depending on the season are antelope, mule deer, bighorn sheep, coyotes, moose, rabbits, and bald eagles. If you take the scenic drive into West Yellowstone there are grizzly bears and wolves on display every day at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery center. Then grab lunch and milkshakes in town and head into Yellowstone National Park for a day of hiking, sight seeing, and photography. There are usually bison, moose, elk, deer, wolves, and more running wild around the 2,219,823 acre National Park. Yellowstone Park is also home to the 109 foot tall Yellowstone Falls, Old Faithful Geyser, and the numerous hot pots and hot springs.

In the nearby streams, rivers, and lakes you will find many species of trout awaiting the perfectly cast fly or lure. The Madison River located about a mile away, as the crow flies, is the #1 rated Blue Ribbon trout fishing river in the state. If you prefer fishing on lakes, or recreating with a boat, that's close by too. There are numerous lakes within a very short drive (less than 10 miles). These include: Quake Lake, Hebgen Lake, Henry's Lake, Conklin Lake, and Cliff and Wade Lakes.

Need another national park? Teton National Park is only two and a half hours away.Want to get your heart racing? Maybe go ziplining in Big Sky or white water rafting on the wild end of the Gallatin River.

Quick fall trip to Yellowstone
Loved the views and isolation of this property. Horses in pasture and coyotes chirping in the distance. The drive around the lakes to West Yellowstone is easy and beautiful. The cabin was as listed and quaintly intimate. A mouse is in the house as droppings could be found and his little scratching heard - but hey it's a cabin - to be expected. The stovetop is broken - only two burners on the left work. All this to say- why are you in the cabin? The views and access to walking trails, Yellowstone, fishing, all made for a pleasant stay.

Lovely property.
This property is peaceful and is surrounded by beautiful views. Convenient to West Yellowstone and the West entrance to YNP. Also for the fly fisherman you are minutes from the Madison river.

Sheep Creek Cabin Review
We really enjoyed the scenery around the house and being surrounded by the mountains. The chairs and picnic table outside on the deck was a nice addition. Unfortunately, there was a mouse in the house that we had to catch ourselves. There were mouse droppings on the bed in the loft and the pull-out couch making it unusable. Also, there was a terrible smell in the loft. These things were unfortunate as we felt like we paid a lot to stay in this place and especially for the cleaning fee.

Great views. Away from the crowds!
This was a very comfortable place to stay away from the crowds. Views from the cabin are spectacular. Very private setting with plenty of wildlife around. Pronghorn antelope grazed the property every morning. Truly a very peaceful setting. No surprises at the cabin. All appliances worked well including the wonderful AC units. Beds were comfortable. Was well stocked with paper products, etc. Altogether a very relaxing week in Yellowstone.
