    We didn’t like the twin bed because it was very uncomfortable and old mattress. Queen bed was OK. This unit has two bedrooms, but you have to go through second bedroom to get to the bathroom. Best thing about the property is the location which is excellent.

    First, we loved Colmar! 🇫🇷 On arrival, Claude was very nice. However, he told us we were double-booked (I booked five months ahead of time). We had to stay in "his" flat and a room across the hall. The room across the hall did not have a bathroom. The bath was located in his flat and in the other bathroom. It was very inconvenient, to say the least! We didn't spend much time in his flat because we didn't feel comfortable. Also, the picture on the site is a little misleading. The flat is not on the river. Check-out was okay, but we felt rushed because Claude wanted back into his flat.

    Le gros problème c'est que toutes les chambres sont en enfilade , sans porte et que la salle de bain ( qui comporte ses WC) se trouve dans la dernière. Si quelqu'un veut dormir en couple dans la chambre qui donne sur la salle de bain, le lit pliant condamne la salle de bain. C'est très bien pour un couple avec des enfants, mais nous qui étions deux couples, l'un de nous deux à dormi dans la chambre près de la salle de bain et a vu passer tout ceux qui allaient aux toilette toutes les nuits. Pendant ce temps, ma femme a couché sur le canapé de l'entrée. Ce sont les seuls points négatifs, mais cette location est destinée simplement a u famille avec enfants et non à deux couples

    Je suis surpris par votre commentaire car je vous ai proposé spontanément et gratuitement une chambre indépendante de 30m2 au rez-de-chaussée mais vous m'aviez répondu que ça ira. Si quelque chose ne vous convenait pas, il fallait accepter la chambre supplémentaire au lieu de dire que tout va bien et de faire un commentaire après. Il y a des vacanciers qui viennent à 6 et qui sont ravis.

    Location, history, host

    To stay in a half timbered house (maison à colombage) that is over 400 years old was amazing. Monsieur Daessle, our host, was superb. Mr. Daessle grew up in this house and it has been in the family several generations. Because of this we knew that the place was well taken care off. All the amenities you need and the kitchen has the basics to make an Alsace meal. Monoprix is about 5 easy blocks for all you grocery needs. The half timbered home is in a quiet street just 20 paces from all the action (restaurants and shopping). I would definitely stay here again. Colmar is the larger of the quaint and beautiful little towns in the Alsace region and it was a perfect base to tool around in the other little beautiful towns. Merci Beaucoup Monsieur Daessle for making our stay wonderful and please tell Madame Daessle know that her tart was delicious and a classy welcome touch.

    Wunderbare Wohnung in perfekter Lage

    Sehr positiv behalten wir diese Wohnung in Erinnerung. Aufgrund der Lage in einer Seitenstrasse direkt in der Altstadt kann man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss in nur wenigen Minuten erreichen. Bars, Restaurants und viele Läden findet man in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Wohnung selber war für 5 Personen ausreichend groß, das großzügige Angebot vom Vermieter, ein zusätzliches Zimmer bereitzustellen, mussten wir nicht annehmen. Die Möblierung ist, wie auf den Bildern auch zu ersehen, noch sehr neu und in sehr guten Zustand. Unser Vermieter wohnt selber im Haus, wir wurden mit einem Kuchen empfangen und hätten uns immer bei Fragen an ihn wenden können. Die Anfahrt zum Europapark nach Rust dauert ca. 45 Minuten, jeder Besucher sollte sich überlegen, seinen Parkbesucher mit einem Aufenthalt in Colmar zu verbinden. Die Unterbringung ist dort wesentlich kostengünstiger und ein Besuch dieser schönen Stadt wertet jeden Kurzurlaub auf. Vielen Dank !!!

    Super appartement très bien situé en plein centre de colmar. Appart impeccable, spacieux.

    Un très bon accueil de mr daessle. Une tarte aux pommes maison nous attendait. Tout le monde s'est regalé.l'appartement est impeccable, spacieux et très bien équipé. Machine à laver et sèche linge nous ont bien dépanné. Très propre, décoré avec goût. On a beaucoup apprécié la proximité immédiate des commerces et restaurants. Colmar est magnifique . NOUS LE RECOMMANDONS FORTEMENT! !!

    Esta propiedad esta muy bien situada, a un paso de todos los atractivos de Colmar. El propietario muy amable y dispuesto ayudar en todo lo necesario. Piso antiguo totalmente restaurado con un ambiente muy acogedor. Si volvemos a Alsacia, volveremos aqui sin ninguna duda. Gracias por todo Claude.

    Buona impressione

    La casa si trova al centro di colmar a 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione. Nel complesso ho avuto una buona impressione. Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile. Ci è venuto a prendere alla stazione e ci ha proposto di riaccompagnarci. Inoltre ci ha permesso di rimanere oltre l'orario l'ultimo giorno.

    The house was perfect located and with all the facilities for your staying

    First of all we have to thank Deassle, the owner, for his hospitality from the bigining. He came to look for us to a close street, he showed us the whole house and he made us feel as at home. He gave us two copies of the keys, which is not very comun, and it helps a lot. The house is even better than in the pictures. Everything is new, clean and tidy. It coudnt be better! Just fantastic to go walking everywhere, having the Christmas market around the corner, but at the same time very calm to sleep. To park the car is easy too, just going like 5min walking. If we travel to this area again we will come back for sure, or we will recomend it to family and friends.

    Vermieter nett Wohnung zentral, ruhig und neu gemacht in altem Haus

    In diesem historischen kleinen Haus hat man eine schöne Ferienwohnung hinbekommen. Sie ist zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Ideal für Familien mit Kind oder Paare. Ich habe mich wohlgefühlt.

    Excellent séjour!

    Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette maison idéalement située dans une rue piétonne au centre de Colmar . C'est une location parfaite pour visiter cette belle ville sans avoir à prendre la voiture.De plus les commerces sont à moins de 5 minutes à pied. On peut laisser la voiture dans la rue le temps de s'installer, puis il est possible de la garer sur une place de parking gratuite à proximité. L'appartement, qui correspond au premier étage de cette maison, vient d'être rénové, tout en conservant un esprit traditionnel et familial .Il est propre et spacieux.Il y a même un local à vélos au rez-de-chaussée mis à disposition par le propriétaire. Claude Daessle est un hôte attentif qui nous a reçus chaleureusement et nous a donné des informations très utiles sur sa ville. Nous recommandons cette location. Hervé et Laurence C.
