PROMOTION Panoramic view of the Luberon Les Fileuses

In an exceptional environment, a succession of shaded terraces with bories and rock shelter. The place known as "Les Fileuses" is made up of two completely independent individual houses arranged on two separate terraces. Only the swimming pool is shared. You can also rent the two houses to accommodate the whole family or friends. Many walks are accessible from the house to discover the heritage of dry stone and the surrounding villages.
In the large house Les Fileuses, you will evolve in a beautiful volume around the piano, living-dining room, kitchen, cellar. The room opens onto a large shaded terrace for dining, a smaller one in full sun, overlooking the valley.
On the ground floor a bedroom with double bed, a staircase leads you to the bathroom-wc, upstairs a bedroom with two single beds that can meet, with bathroom-wc. A mezzanine with a single bed overlooks the living room.

Beautiful, well equipped house, excellent location

Very beautiful and quiet place, old stone house with all comodities (including the air conditioner, a great bonus for the very hot days), very nicely decorated. We loved the view from the shaddy terrasse, the set-up of the garden, the view from the pool. The location is very convenient, aside from the tourist masses yet close to plenty of beautiful spots and villages. The communication with the host and the person who let us in - all ran very smoothly, was very well organised and friendly. Both spoke English, for us a huge bonus. Excellent place and host. Can recommend it warmly.

A wonderful place

We really enjoyed our stay at Les Fileuses. There was nothing we missed during this week. It is a wonderful place to relax. No noises, no ugly things around only very nice nature and a grandiose view from the wonderful house. We loved to sit outside on the terrace; it is shady and cozy the whole day. When you need sun, you can go to the pool. The rooms in the house are very well decorated with antique furniture. Only one of the two bathrooms and the kitchen could be a little bit brighter. Living room, dining room and sleeping rooms are all very generously. The location of the property is ideal for many interesting tours in Provence and the nicest villages and towns are nearby. We very much recommend this house.

Traumhaus mitten in der Einsamkeit am Rand von Gordes mit tollem Blick auf den Luberon

Wir wurden sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen von Emilie, der Agentin und sogar von der Besitzerin, Emanuelle selber. Das Haus ist großartig, toll eingerichtet und alles war sehr sauber und komfortabel! Von den drei Terrassen atemberaubendere Blicke in die Landschaft, die Ausstattung des Hauses ließ keine Wüsche offen, es ist einfach alles vorhanden, inklusive Kaffee und kleinen Vorräten. Wir lieben diese Gegend und es ist einfach von dort zu Erkundungen in der Gegend aufzubrechen. Es hat uns supergut gefallen und selbst meine 92 jährige Schwiegermutter kam mit den Treppen zurecht, man muss aber auch gut rüstig sein...;) Liebe Emanuelle, danke für den schönen Aufentahlt, wir kommen gerne einmal wieder!

Traumhaus mit Pool und Blick auf den Luberon

Emmanuelles Haus liegt etwas unterhalb von Gordes absolut ruhig in erster Reihe mit Traumblick ins Tal und auf den Luberon. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr großzügig. Die Küchenausstattung ist super und die Sauberkeit tadellos. Besonders genossen haben wir in den beiden heißen Juliwochen unseres Aufenthalts die Möglichkeit, den Pool zu nutzen; auch die Klimaanlage hat super funktioniert. Die Lage eignet sich hervorragend, um Avignon und die Sehenswürdigkeiten in Vaucluse zu erkunden. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen und danken Emmanuelle für Ihre Gastfreundschaft.

Ein traumhafter Ort

Das Ferienhaus ist hinreißend schön - ein großes Anwesen aus altem Kalkstein, in jeder Hinsicht zeitgemäß und komfortabel, dazu geschmackvoll ausgebaut. Die Räume haben viel Charakter und öffnen sich auf zwei Terrassen, eine größere, beschattete, die sich auf das große Gartengrundstück mit Steineichen und alten Olivenbäumen öffnet, die kleinere zum Weg hinüber zum Pool. Dieser hat einen wunderbaren Blick hinab in ein menschenleeres kleines Tal. Spazierwege beginnen gleich oberhalb vom Haus, ein privater Parkplatz steht zur Verfügung. Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig, zugleich bestens geeignet für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Wir hätten nicht glücklicher sein können. In manchen Rezensionen ist zu lesen, das Haus sei schwer zu finden: "Chemin des Luquets" in Gordes anfahren, die Hausnummer ist 602, ganz am Ende der kleinen Straße :-)

Perfect Base from which to Explore the Luberon

Off-the-beaten-track property provides seclusion, tranquility but central location. After jam-packed days of hiking and/or sight-seeing, this was always the perfect spot to return to for a swim and a glass of wine overlooking a secluded gorge while watching a spectacular sunset. Consider yourself fortunate if you get to witness an evening thunderstorm and hear the peals of thunder reverberate through the Luberon. Sharing the pool with the other house allowed us to meet several couples from Germany (we're Americans) which only enhanced and broadened the experience. We felt we'd stumbled upon truly unique, comfortable lodging that surpassed anything available in a B&B or hotel. We'd do it again in a heartbeat.

This was our ideal place to vacation.

We enjoyed the beautiful sunrises looking over the valley and the Roman ruins from the patio. Each small town had its own characteristics and interesting history. You could easily spend a month and not see everything. We had a memorable picnic at Pont-du- Gard. Everywhere we ate, the food was beautifully prepared and delicious. une semaine en Provence

Lorsque mon mari m’a dit “Gordes”, j’ai répondu que je n’avais pas envie de subir la cohue des touristes, et puis j’ai vu ! Oui, un havre de paix, perdu dans un vallon, face à une vue superbe. La maison est “dans le style” donc parfaite et il ne manque que le pianiste pour profiter du beau piano. C’est la troisième fois que nous venons. Cette propriété est toute la Provence à elle seule, végétation, architecture (bories, abri troglodyte). Ah, j’oubliais, pour la piscine, très très rare d’y voir les propriétaires, dommage, ils sont très sympathiques.

On espère beaucoup revenir

Maison "rustique" mais mignonne et très confortable en lieux historiques, accessibles (si la voiture n’est pas immense) et convenables pour toutes sortes de promenades touristiques. Le moulin presse d'olives d'en face, qui remonte à peut-être 5 ou 6 siècles avant J.-C., est à ne pas manquer. On a trouvé les gens du coin très sympas et les propriétaires super-accommodants. Autant d'étoiles que vous voulez. H.M.
