The Sea Turtle Villa 1 Bed/1 Bath unit located right on a stretch of secluded beach on the world-famous Magens Bay. This private St. Thomas vacation villa rental offers a world of natural beauty and serenity to discerning travelers. Nestled amid lush vibrant flowers and tropical trees with an enormous vista of shimmering bay waters right at your disposal, this is the perfect oasis for discovering the true meaning of a Caribbean paradise. In addition to the peaceful seclusion provided by the villa, guests will find the vibrant nightlife, charming boutiques, and fine dining restaurants of St. Thomas just a few minutes away from home. This villa measures 1,000 square feet and is situated at a small elevation just above the sandy beach, accessible via a short stairway. Inside a spacious living room has been comfortably furnished for leisurely afternoons spent indoors, and a kitchen has been well-equipped for your convenience. A wraparound deck runs the length of the unit, offering premier al fresco living/dining experiences – especially beautiful when the sun sets each night.
This villa has one bedroom that can comfortably accommodate 2 guests, an ideal oasis for a couple vacation to St. Thomas.
Villa Eau Claire has undergone recent renovations to the property. Freshly painted, beautiful new landscaping, outdoor lighting, and new decor make this villa relaxing and enjoyable. 60th birthday celebration trip

My husband and I loved staying at Villa Eau Claire. The villa is open and airy and the sound of the ocean is so peaceful. The private beach is a great place to swim and the entire property is gorgeous! Rick was very helpful and prompt with answers to our questions/requests. We would definitely stay here again!

Views and blues in paradise

What a beautiful place to relax and just watch the amazing sea life below or swim looking out over all the perfect blues, and snorkel with turtles and pelicans diving in feet away. The villa is pristine with such an elegant coastal decor with great artwork. Very easy checkin. Lots of steps if you are mobility challenged be aware. Overall outstanding. Great communication with our host as well. Thank you for introducing us to St Thomas for two St John and BVI trippers We hope to return soon.

WONDERFUL

Everything we wanted for a relaxing vacation. Beautiful view of Megan's Bay with a private beach. and own covered porch. Clear water with sea turtles, fish, even a glance of a stingray. Yacht watching was fun. A quieter side of the island, but going downtown was no problem. The area is very hilly, so there are many stairs to get around the compound. Something to consider if you have compromised health.

Paradise

This, by far, is the best property we have stayed at. We saw dolphins, sea turtles every day, sting rays and pelicans fly right by the balcony. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The only suggestion I have is I would have liked some shade at the private beach. We would have never left the property if we had a shaded area to sit under; but unfortunately the sun is so hot we drove to other beaches and had to pay for umbrellas and chairs which was kind of annoying when the house comes with a beach.Other than that, I give it a 10/10.

Great location. A short walk down the stairs to the ocean every morning for a swim. Easily access Megans beach and all of its amenities. Beautiful views from the deck.

Slice of paradise

We loved staying at Villa Eu Claire on Magens bay! The pocket beach was great to access the water and we were most surprised to watch the pelicans, turtles and tarpon from the balcony every morning and throughout the day. The villa had everything we needed for our stay and even had a few beach towels and snorkels for us to use. It really was an idyllic spot to stay!

Anniversary Trip

We've stayed in St. Thomas three different times, this was by far our best stay. Probably one of the best views on the island as well as a private beach which is unheard of in St. Thomas. The owner was very hospitable and even gave my wife a paddle board lesson. We watched turtles from the balcony each night and the property was very spacious for a one bedroom. Would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed this place! Great views of Magen’s Bay and marine life along with a fantastic beach that had some of our favorite snorkeling - right there! I would recommend bringing eye covers because there are not blackout drapes, so your days start really early. Outside of that it was fantastic!

Turtles! Turtles! 🐢

What a fabulous place to spend a week exploring the Virgin Islands. Loved the porch & being able to walk right down the stairs to the bay. Saw 21 turtles one day while snorkeling. Rick is a great guy & very responsive for the few things we needed.

Ocean view

The views and beach were amazing. The pictures in VRBO do not actually represent the home. The bed does not have a window behind it. It has been boarded up. The bedroom patio slider is broken and the pull down shades also are broken. Would have been nice to use as the sun is out full in the morning. The living room patio sliders are very hard to open and hard to lock. The afternoon sun was hot in the living room and when we pulled down the shades one was completely broken. Kitchen amenities very poor. No bowl to make a salad. Pots and pans mismatched and I'm poor condition. Teflon pan very chipped. When you spend a lot of money for accommodations I expect better than this. Be aware that parking is limited and you may need to park on the street with a big hill to hike down. I'm addition there are approx. 12 plus stairs to take your baggage and groceries down to your room. Very disappointed in the home.

Megen’s bay retreat

We very much enjoyed this location. The view was amazing with sea turtles visible from the deck. Private entrance to the pristine waters, and very entertaining iguanas and pelicans. We did some unwinding, and enjoyed the water and snorkeling. Even swam over to the beach bar one day for lunch and a cocktail. Rick was very helpful with where to shop and eat. We would love to come back!

Simply Beautiful!

Pictures are what attracted us to the place. In person, it was even better. Very much enjoyed the pocket beach you see. The sea life in the area was much more than I expected. Sea Turtles were all around, pelicans were diving into the water on a regular basis. Under the sea, even much more.

Third Stay - We Love This Villa

This was our third stay at the villa; we always enjoy our time here. Every morning and evening is spent on the deck where we sit and watch sea turtles and pelicans below. This year, we were lucky enough to see a few dolphins! The water is crystal clear. The location is fantastic! You can enjoy your private beach or make a short drive over to Magen's Bay. The house is always spotless and has everything you need. We will be back again soon!

Amazing place!

We rented for a week to work and relax. It offered both. Good WiFi for remote office with amazing views. Beautiful get away with a place to put my inflatable SUP in the water. We paddled or drove to Magans beach every day for lunch and sun. Owner is fantastic and space clean and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Magens Bay villa stay

My wife and I had a terrific time. My only regret is not bringing my own set of snorkeling gear to the house because there are so many turtles and fish to see right there at the bay steps below the deck. The views are stunning and the home very accommodating. I’ll be looking to book again. Julia the property manager was delightful and helped escort us from the airport. And the owner Rick answered all messages quickly.

Week in paradise

Enjoyed our week in paradise while staying in this Villa. The moment you enter the gates you are welcomed with gorgeous views of the sea and surrounding areas. It gets even better as you enter the property with its beautiful views from every room and a big deck. And, if course, the highlight is having access to your own beach downstairs (perfect during the times of Covid and social distancing) and being able to walk / swim from there to the wonderful Megan's bay! While exploring the island's beaches, we passed by one of the resorts with its usual crowds, and couldn't help but think how lucky we are to have stayed in "our" villa! Not a single thing to fault, and would stay there again without hesitation!

Perfect Birthday Vacation

We chose Villa Eau Claire for a much needed rest for my 60th birthday and that’s what we did. We’ve been to St Thomas a dozen times and we loved this stay the most. The view is stunning and the balcony is so relaxing. The weather was just perfect and even enjoyed some rain. The home was incredibly beautiful and clean. Everything we needed was there. We managed the parking with a 2 door jeep just fine. The turtles and variety of bird shows did not disappoint daily. There are a lot of steps to the little beach if you cannot to stairs well, but a relaxing and fun snorkeling area. Thank you Rick for designing your space so wonderful for those who visit.

A wonderful retreat

I stayed by on my own for a bit of "me time" and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I made full use of Magen's Bay, wading in the healing waters for hours every day. I spent the rest of my time in my Sea Turtle Villa enjoying the beautiful views of water and wildlife. I didn't rent a car and only ventured out a couple of times and didn't feel like I missed anything. I loved hanging out on the deck or in the villa with all the windows open. I booked a couple of on site massages and cooked my own meals. I wouldn't change a thing!

The 4 private units are surrounded by flower and fruit trees, which make it a tropical paradise unto its own.
Villa Eau Claire is located on the beautiful Magens Bay. Magens Bay is known for its tranquil and warm waters. The bay is filled with many varieties of sea life, and is an amazing snorkeling adventure.
