On the hillside overlooking Lake Okanagan and the mountains beyond this Carriage House is the perfect place to stay. Located in the beautiful Upper Mission Region of Kelowna you are within walking distance to both Summerhill and St. Hubertus Wineries with many other wineries a short drive away. With breathtaking views of the lake from every room we have sought to create a space with all the comforts you would expect from your home away from home.
This stand alone 600 sq. ft. Carriage House offers the privacy one would want when on vacation. With new and modern furnishings comfort has been the upmost importance when creating the space.
Enjoy your own furnished private patio with barbeque whether just to sit and enjoy the view with a glass of wine or dinner with friends.
A fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace and washer and dryer allow for all the comforts of home.
The Living Room offers a 5' futon or can accommodate the queen blow up mattress.

Veg Time

We needed a week to just veg , read a book and enjoy Kelowna. The Deer House was perfect. Comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Tracy and Richard are friendly and accommodating. Excellent hosts. We look forward to the next time.

Deer House Spectacular

A superb location with beautiful vistas of water, trees and mountains all around. Tracy and Richard are wonderful hosts who are respectful of their guests. The property is very well kept interior and exterior. We loved our entire month enjoying this Lake Okanagan haven.

My Husband and I purchased our property in Kelowna in 2011 while still working in Vancouver. We were fortunate to retire here in 2015 and have spent most summers since entertaining family and friends. We love the Okanagan so much that besides our friends and family we wanted to introduce others to all the Okanagan has to offer. January 2019 we completed construction on our Carriage House on the property. With my husband being a General Contractor and myself travelling a couple weeks a month for work prior to retirement we have tried to create a space that offers all the comforts of home.

Why they chose this property

Waking up every morning and seeing the water and mountains out the windows was enough for us to know this was where we wanted to spend our retirement. The beauty of the location we chose is that although we are only a 15 minute drive to downtown we have the feeling of living in cottage country on our .75 acre lot.
