You will adore this ADORABLE cozy cottage located in the heart of San Diego! Only a few blocks away from Little Italy, Balboa Park, the Zoo and the Gaslamp!This cottage is ideally located between beautiful Balboa Park, the Gaslamp & Little Italy. Surrounded by historic homes, local restaurants and unique bars; this spot is the perfect home base for your San Diego experience.

You’ll get to enjoy a lovey private backyard which is perfect for your 4 legged friend or little one! Right at the entrace, you`ll see blooming Valencia orange trees and lemon trees (which you are welcome to pick and enjoy!). entering to your left is your small dining table and kitchen overlooking the yard. Don`t miss the couch to accommodate 2 guests when pulled out. Equipped with a smart TV and high speed internet. A spacious bedroom with fresh plush linens and ensuite bathroom with a tub to relax after a long day of taking in the magic of San Diego! This bungalow is fully equipped with a convenient washer & dryer, a cozy kitchen and an assortment of cooking utensils. please keep in mind. The cottage is on a campus of eight cottages and it is about 420 ft.² so it is a cozy space but a lovely homebase.

A few blocks away, you`ll find yourself in the heart of Little Italy and can enjoy it’s assortment of fantastic restaurants and bars! From there, you`re a hop and a skip away from our beautiful marina! You don`t want to miss the Little Italy Mercato Farmers Market every Saturday which draws crowds to enjoy its wide variety of produce, gourmet food and craft products. This city truly has something for everyone and is especially kid-friendly and dog-friendly so bring them along!

Ideally located between beautiful Balboa Park & Little Italy, Bankers Hill is a local favorite. Filled with historic homes, local restaurants and bars, and just a short walk to the myriad of restaurants in Little Italy, this cottage is the perfect place for your San Diego home base.

Local favorites within walking distance include The Balboa, Wet Stone, Bankers Hill Restaurant, Cucina Urbana, Pizzicata, Ballast Point Brewery, Civico 45, Ironside & Mona Lisa.

Little Italy is a 10 minute walk just west of the 5, and offers a range of fantastic local shops and restaurants. Beautiful and historic Balboa Park is also a short walk and is a must-see San Diego destination filled with over 17 museums, several gardens, miles of hiking trails and several delicious restaurants.

Additionally, the Gaslamp Quarter is located just 1 mile south and is only a short Uber ride away. Guests can also walk 10 minutes west to San Diego Bay to enjoy a short ferry ride to Coronado Island, home to Coronado Beach, consistently rated the best beach in the country.

Getting Around:
Getting around is easy in San Diego. Public transportation is widely available with a bus stop around the corner. Uber & Lyft is available within minutes, and city-provided bicycle rental racks are located just a few blocks away. Guests can also walk to several train station & trolley stops in Little Italy including Santa Fe Depot.
