Great location made it super easy to see San Diego, and a fantastic view. Easy free street parking. The apartment was basic and not super well maintained, but did meet our basic needs.
I would agree with the other ratings. Great view, very responsive management, clean, had all the basic amenities, reasonably priced and could use a little cosmetic updating but for the price and view it was great!
Very clean studio about a 15 minute walk to Little Italy our favorite place in San Diego. Only qualm tried using microwave and blew a fuse. Juavier was a great host. We will be back next month on MLK hopefully it or sister unit will be available
I had a great time at this property! The view from the balcony never gets old and the location is so close to everything. It had all the amenities I needed but it's a bit outdated. The TV is also really really slow. Parking wasn't too bad especially considering the area. You will hear planes flying in nearby but it didn't bother me and I liked watching them come in from the balcony. The place is very charming though and I would book it again!
The location, check in, and communication with host were great. The bed was very comfortable. However, the room itself needs some work. My biggest complaint is that the back patio door does not lock and neither does the bathroom window. A curtain would be nice in the bathroom window. Even though the window is not clear, you still feel exposed. A little paint on the cabinets, some newer appliances, some safety fixes, and the rating would be better.

Room was a bit stuffy and had a urine smell when it was very humid. Host interaction was adequate. Unit is directly under approaching airplanes, making it loud, though close to airport and restaurants. Adequate space for 3 people.
My son spent a very comfortable week in August in this studio apartment.in the Bankers Hill neighborhood of San Diego. The building has stunning views of San Diego Bay, and everything is accessible to it -- downtown, Balboa Park, Little Italy, San Diego International Airport and more. The apartment is in an elegant old building -- maybe the mansion of a former mayor. The home isn't far from the flight path for planes landing (and sometimes taking off) SAN. But my son said he didn't notice it -- it was just white noise.
