Great family destination

Great place to celebrate the grandparents 70th birthday! The house was very well stocked and there were activities for all ages of our group. I would definitely recommend to families looking to get quality time while surrounded by nature.

The property was amazing. Quiet and peaceful with plenty of privacy along with an indoor heated pool, hot tub, game room in the basement of the main house and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. We've been coming to Amish country in Ohio for over 20 years and have stayed at dozens of different places. Mount Pleasant Lodge is our favorite, There was something for everyone! We will visit this place again. My family had a wonderful time and couldn't be happier with our decision to stay here.

Awesome Stay!!!!!

We highly recommend Mt. Pleasant Lodge! The cabin is immaculate and stocked with all your needs. The Pool House was amazing. We also enjoyed disc golf, zip-lining , and the campfire. Thanks for the opportunity to stay in this beautiful and cozy place.

Mt Pleasant

Perfect cabin for a family vacation. Everything we needed was there. Between the pool, basement activities, firepit, swings, deck and location, we could have not been more satisfied.This was our 4th year there and my family does not want to go anywhere else. My granddaughter called it (Grandma's new house! ). Thank you for sharing it with us!

Beautiful! Much needed stay!

We had so much fun! Beautiful, clean property & cabin. All the details thought out. Comfy big beds & fun gameroom downstairs. Something for everyone. And then there's the pool house! Wow! Spent time checking out the local farmstands & small businesses in Dover & New Philadelphia. Would love to stay again!

BEST FAMILY VACATION

Our family had a great time! We have never went on family vacation since having our son diagnosed with brain tumor we have not felt confident to travel. Going to mt. Pleasant felt like being at home but better!! Lots of great views we loved the zipline the pool was great!!! The fire pit was awesome and they even have pre chopped wood ready for a fire. We were welcomed with cupcakes and balloons for our son’s birthday. Everything was clean and organized the jacuzzi was awesome they have everything for little kids and adults.

Amazing Vacation

This was our second time staying with Your Family's Place and it just keeps getting better!! Core Family Memories were had over our stay at Mt. Pleasant Lodge. We had the BEST time and all of us agreed that we could stay there forever! From the indoor pool, playground/zipline, firepit, hiking on the trails and all of the cool games inside the house, our family was never bored, we could relax and breathe deep and we loved every second of our time there! One of the best family vacations we've ever taken and I can't wait to go back! The only part we didn't like was leaving! Rose and Brian think of everything! You don't need to remember everything from home, because the house is completely stocked! And the beds...best sleep of my life!! Can't wait to go back!

The PERFECT vacation for families with a large age range of kiddos.

It’s honestly hard to put into words just how incredible our stay here was. Rose and Brian truly cover all the bases, especially when it comes to traveling with children. All the extra special little touches and convenient amenities make it the least stressful and most magical experience for parents and children. Our kiddos range in age from 2 to 14 and it’s extremely difficult to find activities where everyone’s happy, It was amazing not hearing the words “I’m bored“ once all weekend! I even got to sit down and relax multiple times, a true luxury as a mom of littles. Between the pool house, game room, hiking trails, and yard, you can have a fun-filled trip without ever leaving the property! Most importantly of all, our family spent a lot of time together, enjoying each other‘s presence and making new memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. I am forever grateful that Mount Pleasant Lodge will hold a special place in mine and my children’s hearts 🥹❤️🥰

Our stay was perfect! We felt like we were living a Hallmark movie with all the beautiful decor and attention to details, especially the Christmas decorations. We spent a lot of time, as a family, in the cozy family room around the fireplace. The game room, as well as the pool, were a real hit. We all agreed that it was a perfect family Thanksgiving.

We had the most beautiful family Christmas!!The kiddos loved it! So did all of the adults! There were so many activities and the amenities were five star!!!It was so fun to swim on Christmas Day.This was our second stay at one of their properties. We stayed at the Maple Pond cabin this fall and loved it as well.The hosts do an amazing job. You can feel the love they put in

Consistently Fantastic!

We love coming back every year to Mt Pleasant Lodge! We love the fact that our entire family can stay all in one place, with so much to do right there on property. The location is excellent, as you feel the peace & quiet of "getting away", while still being close to plenty of stores, restaurants, and local things to do. The property is very well cared for, and Rose & Brian have seemingly thought of everything - they go above and beyond! Excellent property and hosts!!

Rose does an excellent job with this property! Everything was perfect. The fresh cookies, easy check in and check out are a huge plus! The property is spotless - including the garage and grounds despite being the dead of winter. She is easily accessible…. Although at no time did we have to call. The pool is so much fun and the hot tub is a great way to warm up before heading back in the house! Thank you - we will most certainly be back for a third visit !!!
