A short 14 miles west of Fairbanks allows full views of the Northern Lights. During the summer, we are a short 10 minute drive to the top of Murphy Dome. There is no public transportation to this location. We are 20 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and 25 minutes from downtown Fairbanks. Uber and taxi service is available in Fairbanks however, they are expensive and may be inconvenient. A rental car is the best choice when staying with us. We strongly recommend that guests visiting us in the winter rent an AWD vehicle.
