Find out why everyone adores the Beachin Cottage - 100 steps to the beach!

The newly renovated, 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath beach cottage will have you hooked from the second you step inside.

The home offers four beautifully decorated bedrooms including one king bed, two queen beds, and two twin beds. The open grey and white floor plan allows guests to lounge in one of two spacious living rooms. Choose the upstairs lounge, watching the 50” screen tv, while others are in the fully equipped kitchen or dining area. Choose the second living area downstairs, with another 50” and Netflix, as others are lounging in the screened in porch just off the pool deck.

There’s no need to bring a lot with you, we have everything you could think of! The beds are fully made up with extra soft linens and plush towels are provided. Enjoy fresh hand soaps and shampoos, and when you’re finished, use one of our complimentary hair dryers. Our large washer and dryer is fully equipped with soaps and dryer sheets.

This is Hilton Head, and you know the real magic happens once you step outside! No matter how you choose to relax, we’ve got just the thing for you! Step into the enclosed, spacious backyard for a dip in your private *heated pool the largest on North Forrest Beach sporting its own tanning ledge built in! Naturally, Hilton Head didn’t get voted #1 Best Island in the US or #2 Island in the World by Conde Nast for OUR pool, but a short walk to the beach is all the proof you’ll need. Just 50 steps through your own secluded beach access to where the dunes open to the possibilities of sandcastles and long sunset walks.


When you’re in the mood for adventure and investigating, head out from our quiet neighborhood just down the bike path to our popular Coligny shopping area. Here you’ll find a theater, several of the 250 renowned restaurants on the island, scattered among several spas and boutiques the island has become famous for.

For an educational experience, head over to the Coastal Discovery Museum just a short distance down our 12-mile island. Here you’ll learn why, on Hilton Head Island, we are passionate about our turtles, learn some interesting facts and even more about the turtle nests we’ve adopted each season.

This was a beautiful beach house that was incredibly well appointed. The decor was lovely and the kitchen and rest of the house were VERY well stocked! More than we could have hoped for! They also left us a wonderful charcuterie board and bottle of wine for when we arrived! Wow! Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect Family Vacation Spot

We were a group of 5 adults and 1 toddler, and this was the perfect spot for us. The pool, outdoor space, and two living areas made it a great place to relax and hang out at the house, and the beach was only a couple minutes walk. The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive, and we would definitely stay here again or recommend for others.

Susan was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the stay. The home is an easy bike ride to "town" and the beach is only steps away. When not at the beach the pool and deck area was great for relaxing. We greatly enjoyed our time there.

Our family fell in love with Hilton Head years ago. Raised in the Northern areas of Cape Cod and the New Jersey shoreline, the SC coastal area didnt take long to want me to share those same childhood memories with our children and soon, ResHH a collaboration of everyone's initials was born. We opened our homes to families hoping to help them fall in love with the island and build family memories. Over the years as we add new spots, our rental families have come to know and appreciate each of our locations and often even become part of the process! We strive as a family to make ResHH more about treating our renters as if they are staying at their own family location. Because everyone is better "connected"!

Why they chose this property

96 North Forest is a sentimental family favorite. Its soothing tones inside allow you to relax and just decompress from the moment you walk in. Located at the end of the main North Forest Drive it offers a quieter retreat, but is just close enough to Coligny that you don't miss out on the main downtown of the island for shopping & dining. Affectionately called the "cottage", this home allows smaller families & groups to relax yet still be able to have quiet time in the dual Livingroom's, closed in porch or front patio.

What makes this property unique

One of the most unique features of this home has to be the pool. When we reconstructed the back yard area, we thought of our families. This semi enclosed area has lush lawn area, outdoor grill & dining, tons of lounge chairs and of course that pool.
Often noted as one of the largest on North Forrest, we find the entire back yard just a family oasis that takes you back to what's important - spending time building memories away from it all!
