The shipping container was transformed in a cozy and comfortable apartment equipped with one bedroom with double bed, A/C unit, Smart TV with Prime Video, WiFi (200/200 Megabytes - Great to work and travel), fully equipped kitchen, balcony with volcano view, house alarm, gated property, safety deposit box, private parking on premise and full bathroom with hot water.

Perfect apartment in downtown La Fortuna, you will have access to town just walking 3 blocks! But it is located a bit hidden so you can rest and be away of our busy town, the apartment has everything you need to enjoy all main attractions of La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area. We have two apartments on site each one is very private and has its own private areas and parking.

Perfect apartment in downtown La Fortuna, you will have access to town just walking 3 blocks but it is located a away from the main road next to a little creek so you can rest from your daily adventures. If you need to work we have a desk and chair in the living room area, our 100/100 megabytes connection is great for work and travel, also in both balconies you will find option to sit and work enjoying the hummingbirds jumping from one flower to other.

There is a laundry area available for our guests, is located in between the two apartments in the property, there is a washing machine available and each apartment has a clothes drying rack, this service is included in our daily rate (Available until December 2022).

You will have an excellent location to explore La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area, apartment is 3 blocks away from the central park where you will find supermarkets, restaurants, drugstores, souvenirs shops, banks and more. All main attractions are 10 to 30 minutes away by car if you want to explore on your own in your car and/or Taxi or Uber. Great spot in La Fortuna

The apartment worked out great. The location is perfect, 5-minute walk from downtown La Fortuna. Tons of good restaurants in walking distance. Have to admit we had some doubts about how good a shipping container-turned-apartment could be, but it was more than acceptable, especially for the price. It was small, but had a working kitchen and nice outdoor space. The AC went out during our stay but Eder and the people at the office had it up and running again that day. The people in the office were also super helpful in making arrangements for tours and transportation when needed. Nothing but good things to say about people we worked with on activities. We had a car for the first two or three days, then dumped it. Didn’t really miss it. The grounds are quite nice, and there was even a sloth up in a tree on the property. Highly recommend staying there.

Comfortable & Convenient

Everything came ‘as advertised’ at this well outfitted, comfortable shipping container refurb apartment. Had everything we needed in a cozy, efficient space. Great location-quiet, but close to downtown, easy short walk away; really good restaurant, Travesia, right across the street. My wife loved it, would definitely stay here again. Also the House of Tours hosts were very helpful, responding to any & all questions in a few minutes via WhatsApp. Thanks!

Very nice place

The property is very new, everything is nice. The location is perfect! We didn’t have the chance to see the volcano because of the fog, but it would have been perfect place if more visibility.

Excellent experience

We stayed for 2 weeks and had everything we needed, eating “in” for all breakfasts and several dinners. Private, quiet location, yet only 3 blocks from the center of town. For several days, there was a sloth in the yard. A bush next to the patio attracted many hummingbirds daily.
