Nice Stay
This house was great for our family getaway. It is an old house with a bit of a funky layout and creaky floors, but we expected that. Lots of room inside and outside, with a lovely winery right across the street!

Great family house
The house was clean and we all enjoyed the history of the house. Our three grandchildren enjoyed running all over the huge lawn. The whole family loved exploring the whole house and looking at all family pictures . It was a little chilly outside , but the house was nice and warm. We used the big fire pit outside every evening!

A great place for families
This was the 1st family vacation that my siblings, myself and our respective families have been on in a long time. The house was great for spending quality time together, cooking meals, playing board games, roasting marshmallows on the fire and playing yard games. This trip was good for the soul!

My parents moved our family into this house in 1966. My dad farmed this land and my mother taught school and raised my brother and I. When my brother and his wife retired from the Navy they came home, built their house and now farm this land. My wife and I have lived in the Outer Banks of North Carolina since 1991. We welcome you to rest and relax in the home place.
