Our 1 bedroom, 1 bath retreat (800 square feet) offers comfort, serenity and convenience. After a day of sightseeing, surfing, shopping, hiking or beachcombing, chill out in style with everything you need to feel at home.
Life is easy with the open floor plan, full size kitchen with laborodite stone counters, luxurious California king bed, luxury bedding, comfy couch and 55"TV. Its easy here to replenish your body and relax your mind. Stylishly decorated and fully furnished, all there is left to do at the Encinitas Palms Oasis is to enjoy your vacation.
Store your surfboards or standup paddleboards in the board racks, lift up your feet and lounge in your retreat. This is Encinitas living.
Tucked away from the bustle of downtown in a quiet neighborhood yet just a few minutes drive toward world famous beaches, explore the beautiful gardens of Self Realization Fellowship, hike the coast's best trails or just read and relax.
When you need to stock up on provisions, don't worry-Encinitas' best organic markets are also just a few minutes drive from the retreat. And restaurants--Encinitas has them all, from vegan to Tequila bars. Lots of options.
We are located in a quiet old Encinitas neighborhood with rare large lots, mature trees and ocean views. Our beautiful beaches and fun town are about a mile downhill. A short drive or easy walking. Parking at the Encinitas Palms Oasis is off street. The Oasis is located upstairs, with its own private entrance and small outside sitting area, nestled in the palms.
We are a beach oriented family, so a foam surfboard, boogie boards, and chairs are available. We are also located in a quiet residential neighborhood with long time respected neighbors, so please honor quiet time 10pm-8am. And of course, this is a non smoking house, inside and out.
Having lived here in this location since 1980 we probably can answer any questions about Encinitas and we are happy to help you find whatever interest you, from restaurants, to nature and entertainment.

Spacious and charming place for a getaway!

We enjoyed the creativity and charm of Marsha and Greg's property from the moment we stepped on to the garden path leading us to our getaway. Such beautiful plants on a property with a lovely family history! The high ceilings and many windows gave the expansive kitchen and living room area a bright and airy feel. The main bedroom was cute and comfy, too. Everything we could have wanted or needed was available, thanks to thoughtful and detailed stocking. Marsha communicated with us immediately any time we asked and was thoughtful and friendly. I highly recommend it and hope to return!

Beautiful Oasis Getaway

Went down to visit my kiddos & my grandsons first bday. My sister came and stayed with me for a few days & we enjoyed the beautiful retreat. The property was lovely & well appointed. The hosts were super friendly, generous and welcoming ! Would definitely recommend !!

This was 2nd time we stayed here, we would stay here again, convenient to Encinitas and North County San Diego restaurants, beaches, shopping and hiking. The owners are wonderful and make every effort to accommodate.

Very quiet and peaceful

This rental felt so much more than just any VRBO. It was clean and well appointed. The place was very quiet, even at an early hour for us "early-to-bed" folks. Communication with the owner was very smooth. Will likely book again. Thanks!

We have had the pleasure of living on this property since 1980. What started as a little 1920's house in a avocado orchard has evolved over the years (with 11 remodels/changes/additions) into our family home.

We have loved, laughed, raised children and grandchildren, surfed, windsurfed, paddle boarded, schooled, raised a horse, chickens, many dogs and cats, gardened, played and cried here. Our daughter was 5 months and our son 4 years when we began this journey. We went on to build the area you are staying in when our daughter and her husband and two little girls were considering moving to Oregon. Maybe we could build them a home here!! Latest remodel! We had seven marvelous years with them living here and getting to love our two granddaughters daily (now 8 and almost 10)! They raised their ownchickens, dogs, gardens and all the fun and excitement that comes with a family of 4 added on. They were recently lucky to get their dream home on one acre in Fallbrook and are happy building their forever home.
