We stayed in the cabin for our anniversary. It has everything you would need. The closet is the best use of space ever. It is so quiet & relaxing there!

Davonne and family were great guests. Left everything tidy and respected our house rules.
we were looking to get away from the busyness of the city and accomplished it. we loved the quietness, if the lake had water, I would have to say it would have been perfect.
If you plan to stay the entire time at the cabin, it is a nice private stay The cabin is very remote, so make sure to keep your gas tank topped off. The cabin was clean, roomy bathroom, kitchen well stocked, very limited refrigerator space. We especially enjoyed the porches. Limited views due to vegetation growth close to the cabin.
had a great time in great cabin. It was very private and had everything we needed. There were cameras watching the inside and both porches, I guess for security since it was not beside owners house. We covered the inside one with a towel....lol that was a bit strange, but other than that it was just what we wanted

Hi Rick, thanks for the review. The cameras were left by the previous owner and are not on an active plan so they are not recording. We do need to take them down just haven’t had a chance yet to do that. We would love to have you all back again! Thanks
It’s a nice cabin but I wouldn’t rent it again on a weekend: loud music from neighbors. Also air conditioning loud. One mattress too soft. But I say this only as a suggestion to improve it, because in total I felt very happy and liked the surrounding nature a lot. And concerning the music this is of course not the owner’s fault. Some people are just inconsiderate on a weekend night.

Thank you for the suggestions on the mattress. If you do stay with us again and the other guest on the property are loud, please let us know right away and we will ask them to turn it down. Hope to have you back again.
We really enjoyed our stay. You definitely thought of everything in regards to us not having to bring anything except clothes and food. We will be in contact with you to plan to bring our other son and grandkids.
Great place and we loved Paradise Canyon just 10-15 minute drive away. It was so close that we came back to the cabin to eat, rest, get some AC mid day then head back!
We enjoyed staying at this property. We were very happy with the cabin because it was exactly as shown in pictures and was extremely clean. It was a beautifully made cabin and was on a beautiful property. The beds were very comfortable and there was a huge bathroom with tons of space which is nice with a family of 4 and a dog. We liked the property and being in the hill county, but I did think the surrounding local areas looked run down and unkempt. Many of the local sites were not well kept and appeared to have closed down. We ate at La Cabana Mexican restaurant which was about 20 minutes away and it was just ok. There are not tons of options so you get what you get kinda thing. We drove to see the Alamo and Riverwalk which was about 45 minutes away. Altogether, we enjoyed the cabin and being in the hill county area/ property. We found Sarah easy to work with and helpful when we needed her assistance. We would recommend staying here if you enjoy being in nature ,but close enough to San Antonio sites.
Highly recommend having a full tank and if you have a larger car like an suv because we almost couldn't make it up one of the steep hills coming into the property due to loose rocks. There was another less steep driveway near our cabin that we thankfully utilized. The property has the smaller cabin and a larger log home that accommodates larger group. They are pretty close together which could be an issue if there is a noisy group, but thankfully we didn't experience any of that.
It doesn’t get any better than this!! I’d certainly go again. You city slickers. It’s dirt roads and open and closing gates. Lol. Beautiful place. Very clean. Love the construction of the inside. Sometime spent a lot of time on detail.
