We had an amazing stay at Patriks house. Plenty of space on the property. Great pool to relax in and very friendly hosts. We also loved the roof terrace for the evening sun!

Llama House

An interesting property in extensive grounds shared by the Llamas and one deer. Out granddaughter loved the animals and all the artworks and decorations in the house. It was convenient for Central Lyon with a very efficient bus , train and tram service available. Patrik and Veronique were very friendly and helpful .

Great hidden property

We had a wonderful time. Patrik is great and the place is amazing. The swimming pool is amazing and safe with kids. The amenities are great with hot tub, BBQ and a lot of space to run around - with the lamas! Parking is available inside the property which makes it very convenient to visit Lyon with a car. If you don't have a car, the metro station is about 20 minutes walking distance.

Wonderful holidays at a wonderful place

Our stay at this extraordinary place was wonderful. Véronique and Patrik are very kind and helpful hosts. The property is big and very green and there are two sweet lamas.The house is well equipped with all you need. The swimmingpool is very large and nice. The connection to public transport is good. For our group of 6 over for the Rugby World Cup, we got everything that we needed. The chance to relax, have our own space, ability to cook and the ability to relax at the pool and jacuizi, makes life easy. We were very well looked after by the hosts. The area is great and supermarkets and bakery 5 minute walk, and then bus to take you to Oulins and lyon right at the door. Would recomend staying here to other people.

Like staying at your well-travelled Uncle’s house.

If you are looking for a peaceful, green oasis on the edge of Lyon, this is for you. We loved it. The house is spread over three floors, plus a rooftop deck, so be aware there a lots of stairs (on a gorgeous, curved staircase). It is an easy commute into Lyon on the 63 bus to Perache or the metro, but you may find yourself spending more time on the patio, under the trees, enjoying the barbecue and hot tub, like we did. Recommended.

Our stay was very comfortable. The hosts were attentive and helpful. Access to the apartment was fine for us but would not be suitable for older or people that aren't very stable on their feet. The llamas were cute and interested in us after grocery shopping :). Groceries and pharmacies were very convenient. Beds were fairly comfortable. The many art and other artifacts were interesting, eclectic and tasteful. The hot tub is inflatable and all other amenities that we needed were available.

Provided you don't have small children, this is a great property

This is a large property in the Lyon suburb of Oullins. The town can easily be reached by bus. The stop is round the corner and the journey takes 20min to 1h depending on the exact destination. There is a small supermarket 5 min down the road and larger ones are short bus ride away. The house is set across multiple floors. There is a living room/kitchen on the ground floor and three generous bedrooms on the second/third floor. The outside space is plentiful and includes a jacuzzi tub, a swimming pool and grounds with two lamas! The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom were spotless. It is a perfect place for adults and older children: ours (9-13) loved the pool and the company of the lamas. Had they been younger, however, we would have struggled a bit. The stairs to the pool are steep and wobbly and the house is full of fragile and valuable objects... The owner was super-helpful throughout and would deserve six stars. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.

Patrik en Véronique zijn supervriendelijke mensen, heel behulpzame en warme mensen. De lama’s, het zwembad, het groene domein en het super gezellige “speciale” interieur waren extra fijn bij dit leuke huis. We hebben vooral genoten van de gastvrijheid. Top! Hébergement pas assez propre : beaucoup de grosses araignées dans les rideaux et aux 4 coins des murs malgré le tarif. Depuis 8 ans que nous louons notre maison nous n'avons jamais eu des remarques sur la propreté, le ménage étant toujours fait avant l'arrivée des vacanciers, et celui-ci n'est pas prévu durant la durée du séjour !Nous sommes à la "campagne" et les 2 ou 3 "grosses" araignées que vous avez pu voir (dont vous ne nous avez pas parlé !) viennent du jour au lendemain. Comme spécifié dans l'annonce nous n'avons pas de climatiseurs, en plus du fait que c'est mauvais pour la planète, ceux-ci ont généralement des blocs extérieurs inesthétiques et inadaptés sur une maison du 19° répertoriée comme "maison exceptionnelle" à Oullins. Des ventilateurs, à disposition, sont largement suffisants dans ce genre de maison ancienne. Nous y logeons nous-même, comme vous avez pu le constater, et n'utilisons ni climatiseur ni ventilateur, la température de la maison reste très supportable, même avec les 40° exceptionnels que nous avons eu cet été, si on ferme les volets la journée et si on ouvre les fenêtres les soirs et les matins !!! Pour ce qui est de votre nuit d'hôtel, vous êtes partis visiter Annecy un matin avec retour le lendemain soir, donc, à notre avis, vous n'avez pas pris une chambre d'hôtel climatisée uniquement pour mieux dormir !!! Merci beaucoup d'avoir apprécié, quand même, la piscine et les lamas, mais nous regrettons que vous soyez nos seuls locataires à ne pas avoir apprécié votre séjour, et nous sommes prêts à faire un geste lors de votre prochaine venue. Charme et tranquilité à deux pas de Lyon

Cadre magnifique à Oullins pour profiter de Lyon très facilement en transport en commun. La maison, au charme ancien, est calme et très agréable pour profiter d'un séjour en famille. La présence des lamas contribue à donner son coté unique au lieu. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour !

Die Villa und der umgebende Park mit den Lamas sind wirklich außergewöhnlich. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und die Betten sehr bequem. Am besten ist die die herzliche Gastfreundschaft der beiden Gastgeber - danke dafür!
