We live nearby. I like to meet our guests when the timing works out upon arrival and get our visitors settled. But when timing doesn't match up we'll leave a key for them to access the rental at their convenience. We're a phone call away if anything comes up during the stay but leave guests to enjoy the rental as their own when they are here.
Visitors can shop at Mac & Murphy stationary shop or tailored menswear at Indigo & Cotton located directly next door and across from the apartment; indulge in the city’s most charming bakery – Sugar Bakeshop - located just across the street from the rental; and peruse the selection of handmade bags and leather goods at J. Stark, just down the block.
Many of the city’s most notable eateries are located in the Cannonborough-Elliotborough neighborhood, or an easy walk from the rental. In an October 2017 Thrillist article on where to eat in and around Charleston now – 11 of the 29 Charleston eateries listed are in easy walking distance to the home (the rest, an easy car or cab ride away): O-Ku, Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit, Chez Nous, The Darling Oyster Bar, The Grocery, Indaco, The Ordinary, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Warehouse, Chubby Fish.
We are only 3 blocks from Upper King Street, so most guests prefer to walk and explore the city. The beach is 15 minutes away by car. There is also a free shuttle offered by the city that runs along King Street (3 blocks away) to popular stops. Bike rentals are available nearby or you might enjoy trying a pedicab taxi. We offer free parking on site or in the lot we manage across the street.
There are no shared surfaces or spaces. We are a family owned and operated business and care very much for our guests experience. We are available to help with recommendations and planning.
