Great location

Very nice little home located on the beach. Very quiet neighborhood. I would rebook Piper’s Plunge!

Beachfront relaxation

Loved the one level layout. House was clean. 2-person kitchen table and 3 stools at island bar is seating for dining - which worked for me as my puzzle fit on the kitchen table! There is a big picnic table on the deck. We loved sitting in the nook on the porch in the Adirondack chairs. We were surprised to find that driving cars on the beach was allowed here - would've made me nervous if I had my granddaughter with me. We cooked most meals - adequately equipped kitchen. Highly recommend the Indian Pass Raw Bar - oysters were FABULOUS!

Great quiet week at the beach

This property is exactly as pictured, with the exception of a boardwalk that was not shown when we booked. (That's a good thing, though- I can't imagine walking it without the boardwalk.) We had a family of 4 plus all of our gear, and we had plenty of room. We used the gear credit for chairs and a kayak and brought along our own tent and paddle board. The weather was perfect, and the kids had a blast. We saw the alligators that live in the bayou, a few sharks, some rays, and the dolphin were showing off their tricks all week long. It was spectacular. I see some previous reviews mentioning the construction. When we were there, the bulk of the construction was already completed, so we did not experience the issues with the noise that were mentioned. Hopefully, that phase is done, and no one else will have that problem either. I also did not see the other issues mentioned by previous reviewers- loose spindles, tub draining issues, dirty grill, etc. Those were addressed before my stay and were not a problem for us. We did have the same issue with the wifi, but there is a tablet on the counter in the kitchen with info and instructions, so we looked at that network and hopped on that one with no problems. It was an easy fix and didn't even warrant a call to the property manager. This is located in a quieter area set away from any action, so if that's what you are looking for, this is it.

Nice property that needs better management

The place itself is nice but it doesn’t seem to be managed all that well. First it’s surrounded by construction on all sides. While I get management can’t control that, I dont think the rate should be the same. You rent a house based on amenities, and we could use some of them. Also made my wife uncomfortable going back and forth to the beach with 25 dudes standing there. Master bath tub didn’t drain properly. Obviously an ongoing problem because the stopper was unscrewed from the drain and sitting next to the tub. Wi Fi they sent me didn’t work. The network they name isn’t even available, and the network that is available doesn’t accept the password they gave me. Phone worked fine all week. The grills and grilling area are disgusting. They are covered in rodent droppings. Not just a little bit but a lot. Not really useable. I mean this was really bad. Location is great and the house is nice. Someone just needs to manage it. Probably wouldn’t use this company again.
