Our time at the Reed-Dossey House was absolutely wonderful. Evenings playing pinball in the game room were so much fun, and Tony and Sharon went above and beyond by making a cake and singing to my sister for her birthday. Their warm hospitality, delicious breakfasts, and attention to detail made this stay truly special. Highly recommend!

Tony and Sharon are amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast were outstanding with something different each morning. I especially liked the homemade jam that they make and serve. My wife and I purchased several jars to bring home along with homemade apple sauce. The property is very well maintained and the view from the large front porch is great. We sat out there every afternoon and even played a board game with Tony and Sharon. They brought us several other homemade items to try like their pickles, salsa, etc. My wife and I felt like we were pampered. If you are staying in the area I would highly recommend staying with them, you will not be disappointed. The location is close to the national park, an easy and enjoyable 15 minute drive to the visitor center.

We came to check out Mammoth Caves, but staying here was definitely a great addition to our trip. Sharon and Tony are phenomenal hosts. All the food they made for us was wonderful, breakfast is personalized every morning for you, the house itself is beautiful, they both put so much detail into everything they do for their guests. Truly a great place to stay!

Look no further. This award winning B&B surpasses all expectations. We had a marvelous stay in the middle of all the activities we enjoy. You have everything you need and more. Breakfast each morning was amazing and be sure to order dinner. There’s nothing nearby better. Peaceful and beautiful views. Tony and Sharon are fantastic. I highly recommend staying here.

Much More Than An Ordinary B&B

Sharon and Tony welcomed my wife and me into their home as though we were long-lost friends. We enjoyed everything about our stay: the comfortable bed, spacious porch overlooking the scenic hillsides (gorgeous in the fall), delightful conversations and, of course, the delicious breakfast with homemade jams, jellies and syrups. If you stay there, sign up for the optional dinners. We had homemade pizza one night and grilled steaks the other, and both were great — and generous enough to enjoy leftovers as lunches the following days.

Spent the night while visiting mammoth cave national park

My wife and I were overwhelmed by the hospitality we received during our stay. The owners made us feel so much at home. Our room was very clean and comfortable. This small town does not offer many options for dinner, we recommend you order dinner from the owners. The food was unbelievable. The location is fantastic in a relationship to the national park or other caves in the area.

Wonderful Bed and Breakfast!

My husband and I enjoyed our one night stay immensely! I would definitely want to stay there again if I ever return to that area. Tony and Sharon thought of everything! They were very gracious hosts and made us feel very welcome. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. Closet space was available and a little fridge was located in the bathroom that also had goodies in there if we wanted them. The bathroom had a combo jetted tub/shower and a hair dryer available. We also had access to their game room, dining room for the included breakfast, and that beautiful covered porch. We opted to have dinner there and we selected our meal from their menu a few days prior to arriving. It was absolutely delicious! Breakfast the next morning was also wonderful! They were very conscientious about avoiding spicy ingredients because of my digestive issues. Thank you both, again! I am a fairly quiet person and you both made me feel at ease right away. It's a beautiful home located close to Cave City and I recommend it 100%. More importantly, I recommend Tony and Sharon for their outstanding hospitality.

Best Bed and Breakfast

It was just what I needed - quiet beautiful charming - God’s country. Sharon and Tony (owners) went above and beyond to make sure my every need was met - true southern hospitality. They opened up their home to me and I felt like family. My room was quaint and had every amenity possible. The breakfast was delish and with so much to choose from - more than I could eat. I will definitely recommend this place to any and every one. I will be back for another stay.

Best B&B Ever

This was the best bed and breakfast experience we have ever had. The home was beautiful. The owners couldnt have been more hospitable. We opted to have dinner both nights we stayed and we were VERY happy with that decision. Breakfast was also amazing with homemade jams and jellies. They even made homemade peanut butter! (Amazing!). We highly recommend staying here if you are looking to stay near mammoth cave. We were close to the caves, zipling, and kayaking. It was an amazing weekend getaway.

We stayed at the b&b for two days. Tony and Sharon are phenomenal hosts. We had dinner there the first night. It was excellent. As a chef myself, I can say that they really do it right. You will love the experience. Tony and Sharon treat you like family. We enjoyed the game room each night right along with the hosts and enjoyed conversations on the front porch. We highly recommend staying here.

Best place ever

I cannot say enough about this bed and breakfast. Sharon and Tony were THE BEST hosts. The house is so beautiful. The first morning we were up bright and early for a tour at Mammoth Cave. Both were up and breakfast was ready at 7 a.m. The second night we had them cook us dinner ~ Ribeye - delicious. Sharon even baked us a special dessert as we were celebrating our 30th. Was great to sit down and chat with them both after dinner. Thank you to you both. We will definitely be visiting again. Can't recommend enough, that if you're in this area, you must stay here.

Exceptional!

We stayed 2 nights at the Ree-Dossey house after kayaking and hiking. This was our first experience with a B&B and everything was exceptional! Sharon and Tony could not be more gracious hosts. These two do not miss a detail. We were incredibly spoiled and I can't imagine any other B&B experience even marginally comparing to this one. The property was beautiful, the environment relaxing, and the food was outstanding. Everything they make is from scratch and is as good or better than any restaurant you will find anywhere. It was a culinary experience in itself staying here and we enjoyed sharing our foodie experiences with them, as they were more than generous sharing theirs. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely Perfect! Bring your appetite!

This was our first real B&B stay, and as a previous reviewer stated, I believe it has ruined us for staying anywhere else. Tony and Sharon are AMAZING hosts, it is very evident they love doing this. From the moment we arrived, until our departure, they made every moment delightful. Katie Kat was waiting at the door to great us as well, and is the mellowest, sweetest cat. Breakfast was superb, and I highly recommend the optional dinner. Plenty of food, and leftovers made into sandwiches for our day trips. The pizza rivals most Italian restaurants! The house is impeccably clean, even given it's historic nature. It was quiet and comfortable for sleeping, and the front porch is a welcome place to enjoy the evening. The pinball machine in the game room works perfectly and brings back many memories. We very much enjoyed Tony and Sharon's company, which made it such an enjoyable time. It was really like staying with favorite family members. It is easy to see why they have won awards and have so many 10/10 reviews!
