This was perfect for our family of 5 to be close to our new home and to downtown SLC. For winter it would also be great access to ski resorts. There were plenty of beds so we could all spread out across 3 bedrooms, and it was nice to have a full kitchen. Checkin is super easy. Most of all the hosts are extremely friendly and flexible.
Great space for large group. Location is excellent for getting to ski areas, hiking, sightseeing; also walking distance from shopping center that has stores, bakeries, restaurant and coffee shop.
Adam was awesome! Every time I needed something I just sent him a message and he responded very quickly. Check in was very easy checkout very easy. The place was beautifully clean, lots of room for my kids and had plenty of fun amenities. It was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway to a family wedding. Thank you, Adam!
Great location close to all ski areas, walk to grocery, ski shop and restaurants. Adam was very responsive when we had questions and the place was perfect for our group of 6. Would definitely stay here again!
Adam’s place was a great spot for our ski vacation
The location was great. Very close to the mountain which made getting up to ski quite easy. For the house itself, it was very nicely decorated and accommodating for my family. The favorite part for my boys was the ping pong table. They were obsessed. We had a great stay. Thanks Adam.
This place is in a prime spot for getting to the Cottonwood Canyons, but we ran into several issues that made our stay less enjoyable. One of the main problems is the minimal soundproofing in the ceiling, which meant we heard loud footsteps and things dropping from the upstairs unit at all hours. Flushing the main toilet also triggered a strange gurgling in the nearby kitchen sink, producing a slight odor. The second bathroom’s shower had very poor water pressure. Additionally, the property has two narrow driveways: one requires a sharp angle and is quite steep, while the other has a pronounced dip. If your car doesn’t have enough clearance, be prepared to scrape the bottom. Finally, be aware that most deliveries—whether food or packages—tend to be dropped off at the upstairs unit instead of this one.
Well equipped and comfortable house w great location
This was a great place to stay for the end of my friend and family group's backcountry ski trip to SLC. It is ridiculous how well equipped this house is, w all the extras you could want in the kitchen and bathrooms. Only hiccup for us was not noticing in the check-in instructions that is was the downstairs unit of a two story house, but Adam returned my call promptly and quickly sorted us out. We'd stay here again for sure.
Nicely updated garden level of duplex, super comfy beds in all 3 rooms, stocked with bathroom supplies, spices, extra kitchen items to help make meals, comfy space, great location! Hot tub was great every day after skiing…small complaint that the snow on upper deck was mealtime & leaks and drips through the wood on your head.
Adam was very response and friendly.
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!
Excellent, very well stocked (as in bring no toiletries except your makeup ladies), convenient to everything (ski resorts, downtown, southern part of valley, middle of valley, anywhere you want to go), grocery store and coffee shop you could walk to, residential area so I even took a couple of walks in the neighborhood like I belonged there. My family went skiing for 3 days of our trip. I spent my days visiting friends as we used to live in the area. It was a great trip. The house is amazing. If you are looking to stay, I highly recommend this place. Adam is a wonderful host!
My husband and I fulfilled a bucket list trip! We stayed and skied in Utah for 6 weeks. The Olympus Cove property was perfect! Perfect location. Close to a large number of ski resorts, grocery stores and restaurants. Basically anything you might need very close by. The unit had everything one would need and more. The place was very clean upon arrival. Well appointed kitchen and bedrooms. We felt very much at home here. There was also a jacuzzi which was great at the end of a day of skiing! We brought our dog as well and he greatly enjoyed the hikes and dog parks that were close by. Adam, the property manager, was awesome! Responded promptly with any questions or needs. Overall, I would highly recommend this property.
Bait and Switch - You Get What You Pay For... Would Avoid.
We booked this unit solely based on location and hot tub for a ski tripThe hot tub never worked, and then the host Adam tried to tell us there was an upcharge to use the hot tub (lol, that is NOT a thing and at the time of our booking, was listed no where on his vrbo listing. What was shown was HOT TUB in the TITLE of the listing. We also had many other issues:1. Hot tub did not work and also produced gross brown foam and bubbles (was at 90 degrees and never got warmer) 2. Not having the door code until 2.5 hours after check in time3. The shower curtain had pink mold all over it, leading to concerns about the overall cleanliness of the rest of the home. (Adam did come address this within 24 hours)4. Absolutely insane noise from neighbors upstairs, starting at 6am every day. We were told they were remote workers in EST, but foot steps woke us up literally every morning (as other guests have noted in their reviews)5. Dishwasher doesn't have a door for the soap dispenser internally so dishes do not get cleaned, even after 2 - 3 cycles.6. Inside of the washing machine smelled moldy so we did not do laundry7. Microwave was oddly underpowered/inconsistentBased on the size of the "garden level unit", I would not recommend staying here with any more than 6 people. Luckily we only had 4. There were two nice things:1. Location - great for ski access, 30 min to all resorts2. Dog friendly fenced in yardAdam did comp a bare minimum amount, but do not recommend
This review is very late but I wanted to give our review of this VRBO that we stayed in over Mother's Day weekend. We were in town to help my daughter find a place to live as she had just accepted a job in SLC. After researching many VRBO's we found this place and thought it would be perfect for our family for the long weekend and it also allowed pets too. We brought our small dog with us. The owner was very accommodating when I reached out and asked if we could check in earlier since we were arriving earlier in the day and also when I asked if we could check out a little later on Mother's Day as my husband and kids wanted to take me out for brunch before we left and we needed a place to keep our dog. This place was very dog friendly and they even had out dog bowls and a fenced in area in the back yard for our dog to walk around.
The VRBO itself was good size and the bedrooms were plenty big too. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were stocked with all the essentials. Kitchen was plenty big and had anything you would need to prepare a meal there. We had many laughs around the kitchen table.
We also chose to heat the hot tub which was an extra fee but we enjoyed it very much at night. It would be perfect when booking this VRBO for a ski week. Highly recommend this VRBO for your next ski vacation or short term stay. We were very pleased and had a great time.

Nice property and location but a number of issues.
The property was spacious and kitchen was well stocked. Great location for getting to the cottonwood canyons.
Unfortunately there were a number of issues during our stay that were quite frustrating. The first is that the ceiling has poor sound insulation so the footsteps of guests in unit above us were quite loud and woke all light sleepers in our group up with their early wake up time.
The hot tub was also quite gross. It had a layer of brown spots around the water line and was a quite off green color.
The dishwasher was broken, it didn’t have the piece to hold the detergent so the items would not come out clean.
The toilet in the master bedroom had an issue and doesn’t flush properly so it took multiple flushes to work and had a sewage line smell after flushing.
Shower in the second bathroom had terrible water pressure so everyone ended up using the master shower.
Pool cues were all broken so no ability to use that table.
And lastly the maid showed up an hour before checkout time which caused a good deal of confusion and rushing.
One or two of these issues and it wouldn’t have been a big deal but all together it caused an unsatisfactory visit.

Very Disappointed
The neighborhood was fine, but the house's garage had a broken window, which creates an uneasy feeling. The driveway is very tight to park, even for a small suv. The backyard is nice and tidy. Initial feelings were good when first entering the unit, its big and spacious, and smelt clean. The TV only has a local antenna on it, no cable. The sofas were dirty with hair and food crumbs, and are not the type you can lounge on. Its a basement, so it has a low light feeling in the bedrooms. Both bathrooms appeared very clean at first, but I needed to pull the vacuum out to take care of the hair. The master suite had a broken mirror, and a broken door to the bathroom, which was quite annoying for privacy. When the master toilet flushed it caused a gurgling sound in the kitchenette that backs up to it and caused a slight odor. The bed was hard as a rock and not comfortable to lay on. The first two-bed room was the best of the two, and had comfortable beds. Unfortunately, once we pulled the covers back on one of them, there was a huge nasty unrecognizable stain that pushed us over the edge. The two-bed "monkey" room seemed a little dusty and outdated, and frankly freaked everyone out. Overall, we were very disappointed and ended up leaving at midnight for a hotel. I was able to get a refund on 2 of the 3 days we had it reserved, but not the first for some reason. I would not recommend this for a family stay, this felt more like a college stoner ski trip stay. There was plenty of artwork about drug use which seems like they would cater to that crowd.
We rented this place because it was a great price and it was a central location for Thanksgiving. The host, Adam was great at communicating and very quick to respond. Overall it was a great stay.
We stayed here while our house was being renovated. Adam is awesome and easy to communicate with. Made the stay easy and was very responsive. For our stay being able to have space for all of us and to be able to bring the dogs were our biggest priorities. And of course location. Easy highway access and close to shopping plaza. The place is well maintained and clean. Wouldn't hesitate to stay at this house or any of Adams other locations.
Adam was wonderful. He had picked us up and dropped us at the airport in the beautiful
Mercedes van which we rented from him.
The house was perfect, my first Vrbo stay . So much better then a hotel.
My son went to the university of Utah and I know we will be back for many more visits.
We were visiting family in the neighborhood, so this was a perfect location. Space is well equipped and spacious. We had an issue with a shower, but it was resolved within 30 minutes! Great host and extremely responsive.
We rented this place for our family while we were in SLC for a wedding. What a gem! The location was perfect for us, very central to all the activities of the weekend. The unit itself was fabulous! I've never seen a better stocked VBRO. Literally everything and anything you need was provided. The host was so friendly and responsive. We had a couple hiccups with things like the keypad on the door (but he had a backup key available so it wasn't an issue) and the coffee pot (our bad, not his) and he was so prompt to come to our aid.
My child asked if we could move to that house instead of our house because he was so enamored with all the toy options available and ping pong table. :-)
The only downside and reason for a 4 star review is that the upstairs tenants while we were there had 2 large (beautiful) dogs that were active all hours of the night which made sleeping in one of the bedrooms a challenge. Luckily there are 3 bedrooms so some shifting around was doable and all was well!
All in all I would definitely recommend this spot!
We had a great time here. This was the most well stocked, convenient place we have stayed at. Pictures and description were spot on. Room was perfect for 10 adults! The location to everything was great, including grocery store and restaurants.
