Nice property and location but a number of issues.
The property was spacious and kitchen was well stocked. Great location for getting to the cottonwood canyons. Unfortunately there were a number of issues during our stay that were quite frustrating. The first is that the ceiling has poor sound insulation so the footsteps of guests in unit above us were quite loud and woke all light sleepers in our group up with their early wake up time. The hot tub was also quite gross. It had a layer of brown spots around the water line and was a quite off green color. The dishwasher was broken, it didn’t have the piece to hold the detergent so the items would not come out clean. The toilet in the master bedroom had an issue and doesn’t flush properly so it took multiple flushes to work and had a sewage line smell after flushing. Shower in the second bathroom had terrible water pressure so everyone ended up using the master shower. Pool cues were all broken so no ability to use that table. And lastly the maid showed up an hour before checkout time which caused a good deal of confusion and rushing. One or two of these issues and it wouldn’t have been a big deal but all together it caused an unsatisfactory visit.

Mother's Day
This review is very late but I wanted to give our review of this VRBO that we stayed in over Mother's Day weekend. We were in town to help my daughter find a place to live as she had just accepted a job in SLC. After researching many VRBO's we found this place and thought it would be perfect for our family for the long weekend and it also allowed pets too. We brought our small dog with us. The owner was very accommodating when I reached out and asked if we could check in earlier since we were arriving earlier in the day and also when I asked if we could check out a little later on Mother's Day as my husband and kids wanted to take me out for brunch before we left and we needed a place to keep our dog. This place was very dog friendly and they even had out dog bowls and a fenced in area in the back yard for our dog to walk around. The VRBO itself was good size and the bedrooms were plenty big too. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were stocked with all the essentials. Kitchen was plenty big and had anything you would need to prepare a meal there. We had many laughs around the kitchen table. We also chose to heat the hot tub which was an extra fee but we enjoyed it very much at night. It would be perfect when booking this VRBO for a ski week. Highly recommend this VRBO for your next ski vacation or short term stay. We were very pleased and had a great time.

Couldn’t be happier
Adam was wonderful. He had picked us up and dropped us at the airport in the beautiful Mercedes van which we rented from him. The house was perfect, my first Vrbo stay . So much better then a hotel. My son went to the university of Utah and I know we will be back for many more visits.

Adam’s place was a great spot for our ski vacation
The location was great. Very close to the mountain which made getting up to ski quite easy. For the house itself, it was very nicely decorated and accommodating for my family. The favorite part for my boys was the ping pong table. They were obsessed. We had a great stay. Thanks Adam.

Great Stay/ Great Experience
My husband and I fulfilled a bucket list trip! We stayed and skied in Utah for 6 weeks. The Olympus Cove property was perfect! Perfect location. Close to a large number of ski resorts, grocery stores and restaurants. Basically anything you might need very close by. The unit had everything one would need and more. The place was very clean upon arrival. Well appointed kitchen and bedrooms. We felt very much at home here. There was also a jacuzzi which was great at the end of a day of skiing! We brought our dog as well and he greatly enjoyed the hikes and dog parks that were close by. Adam, the property manager, was awesome! Responded promptly with any questions or needs. Overall, I would highly recommend this property.

Why they chose this property

This neck of the woods is super close to all sorts of winter activities (skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and more), summer activities (hiking, rock climbing, a lake 25 minutes up the canyon), and has easy access to hiking trails with Millcreek Canyon that are within walking/biking distance. But should you find yourself in the homebody mood, you’ll appreciate the open layout, social areas inside and out back, and comfy beds. With easy access to the freeway, downtown, Immigration Canyon, Millcreek Canyon, and Big/Littlewood Cottonwood Canyons. Sitting at the base of Mount Olympus gives you easy access to one of the most heralded hiking trails in the state. This established SLC neighborhood lies in the Herculean foothills of Mount Olympus. It's home to some nice new homes, a few magnificent mid-mods, and locals who appreciate both the finer things and the great outdoors. The majority of the houses in Olympus Cove are newer or of the remodeled variety. Quite simply, this district sits at the foot of all that is Utah wildlife summated, and it’s damn near next to godliness.

What makes this property unique

The revamped open kitchen and adjoining living space sport a nice, open space with a nice flow and cool floors, allowing for easy-breezy hosting duties. And in the summer months —we think you’ll appreciate how simply you can migrate to the private backyard to enjoy the hot summer nights and amazing sunsets. In the winter months —the layout and design allow for easy unloading and storage of all your ski and snowboard gear. We think you'll appreciate how simply you will be able to come and go, and not have to worry about snow melting into water, because the floors allow for simple cleanup. It's only 25 minutes to PARK CITY: And all those peaks, lifts, and fluffy-white flurries. The centerpiece of this well-appointed living space is perhaps the fireplace which is lined with unvarnished wood that looks like cork. It's a gas fireplace (for those chilly nights). You can nestle up for warmth with a glass of wine, tea, or whatever you choose. After the World Health Organization named the COVID-19 virus a global pandemic, keeping our customers and guests safe and preventing the spread of the virus is more important than ever. We have also doubled down on our thorough cleaning program to ensure your safety. This includes using UV-C Sanitizing Technology throughout the space so you can enjoy your stay with peace of mind.
