Loved our stay
Property was very clean and comfortable and the perfect size for the two of us. Very well equipped-loved having the washer and dryer. Jean responded very promptly to the few questions we had. It was close to our son and his family and in a great neighborhood. We walked around several times during our week long stay. We’ve already booked two additional stays for later this year!

Perfect Place for NE Portland
This was the perfect place to stay in NE Portland. It is very convenient to major roads. The street is part of a greenway for use by bicyclists, walkers and cars -- 20 mph speed limit. We were able to fix marinara sauce and meatballs to take to our daughter's for a dinner. This means the kitchen, utensils, etc. was just what we needed. We had a lot of luggage and gear for hiking -- so the walk from the street was a little long, but not really a problem. We liked the openness and the skylights. It was Fall and there was a maple turning red over one skylight. We are already planning our return trip and will stay again.

The Perfect Spot
I stayed here with my dog for a week so I could visit my 97 year old mother who lives in the area. This little bungalow was perfect! Very quiet, very clean and very easy to get to. It has everything you could possibly need for your stay. I hope to stay here again for future visits. Thank you for providing such a quaint little place!

Great Location For Waterfall Hikes
We visited Portland to see the PNW waterfalls and hike Oregon coast. This location was great for easy access to the waterfalls. Good communication with host with fast response when needed. Enjoyed our stay!

Hello and welcome to Portland! I'm a native Oregonian, mom, wife, realtor, dog-owner, tennis player and overall happy person. I've spent a lot of years in the hospitality industry and feel like I'm pretty good at it. Adding "short-term rental host" to my titles just seemed like the right thing to do.

Why they chose this property

We built our guest house with the future in mind. We wanted it to feel perfect for the traveler coming to Portland for work or play, but also wanted to make sure that it had the space and design that someone (us, elderly parents, traveling nurses, young professional) could live here comfortably long-term as well. We think we achieved this goal while also maintaining the privacy and integrity of our own 100+ year old house.

What makes this property unique

Our guest house has all the amenities you will need to make your stay a comfortable one and with our central location near the freeway and the heart of the Eastside of Portland, you will not find a more convenient location for exploring the whole city. We are in a more residential area as well so parking on the street is never a hassle. But restaurants and bars are still just a short (less than 5 minutes) drive or walk away.
