Casa Amanecer is nestled in the coffee-planted mountains. It is equipped with high-speed, fiber optic internet, perfect or online work, browsing or streaming. Ideal for families or groups who want to relax and enjoy an amazing mountain view from the ample covered verandah. There are 5 ensuite bedrooms with private entrances at the common verandah area. The entire house is just one level — there are no stairs on the property. The house is less than 10 minutes to town and the farmer's market, 15 minutes to Las Musas water park, 30 minutes to zip lines, and 40 minutes to Valle de los Quetzals cloud forest to enjoy hikes and amazing bird watching, including the Quetzal.

I'm from Maryland. My wife Luisa is from Perú. We met in 2001 though work with Habitat for Humanity in Costa Rica. After our two children were born, we built our home in 2008 in the beautiful mountains just north of town. Luisa is a licensed social worker and a high school Spanish teacher, and amazing tour guide, leading exclusive, private tours in Costa Rica. I am a graphic designer and home inspector. Our kids are now teenagers and we all love to travel, especially within our favorite country — Costa Rica!

Casa Amanecer is located just a short drive from the town center of San Ramón. All amenities can be found in and around town, including restaurants, movie theaters, grocery stores, banks, the central park, medical clinics, and the public hospital. You will love using Casa Amanecer as a home base for many activities in the area such as cloud forest, bird watching, water parks, waterfalls, zip lines, and the farmer's market in town. The airport (SJO) is just about an hour away. Amazing beaches are three hours away. Volcan Arenal and hot springs are a two-hour drive.
