This was way better than we expected. The pictures barely do the propert justice. Super great house with immaculate yard and pool, extra seating outside and outdoor kitchen facility. Good for Family Stay

Our family stayed here for a week in June, and while we loved the pool and location, we also noticed the home needs some TLC and general repairs throughout (patio doors don't fully shut/lock, toilet seats that don't fit and move when using, cracked window, broken tiles and pans that have teflon peeling off to name a few). Despite needing repairs, we loved swimming each day, close proximity to the wildlife refuge and cute neighboring towns like Sarchi and eating at Casa Mia a few minutes down the road. The owner Jeff was also easy to get in contact with and quick to respond to questions.Also, important to note, the jacuzzi is not a hot one (this is the case with many in Costa Rica, but I didn't know until I arrived) and if you want to use the laundry you will need to pay a fee for the cleaning ladies to do it for you.All in all, it's a cool spot to stay, and with a little maintenance could be an excellent place to stay.

PERFECT!

The house is just as advertised (3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths). The kitchen is well furnished with dishes, pans and utensils with a large dining table. It took a little getting used to the washing machine but all worked out in the end. The backyard is absolutely amazing! Big pool, 2 ranchos, another large table and a grill. The owners are available and extremely helpful. We will definitely stay there again!

Luxury Accommodations

Staying at this house is like having your own private little resort. The pool and the grounds are gorgeous, and the interior is very nice as well, with comfortable beds and A/C. The location is quiet and suburban, not crowded or busy, but only 20min from the airport and 45min-1hr to downtown depending on traffic. It's also a good base to get to many waterfalls, volcanoes, or even the Pacific Coast in less than 90min. Communication with the property manager was great, extremely responsive, and he even was able to track down my wallet after I left it in a restaurant in Grecia... thank God.

ideal location to explore Costa Rica

The first thing that put us at ease was the security checkpoint at the entrance to the neighborhood, it is a very nice area and feels very safe but knowing that no one was getting in without being vetted just lets you sleep better. The host was very quick to respond to any request or question and she gave us some amazing recommendations for local restaurants. Then there is the property itself; it was even nicer than the pictures. Lots of room inside and out to chill and relax, the pool and tub were awesome and the whole vibe of the place was just perfect. We didn't have a single complaint and that is unusual from my 17 and 21 year old kids. I highly recommend this property as it was very easy to get to from the airport and we were able to head out a different direction for every adventure and easily find our way back.

Location is great. Without traffic, it's about 15 minutes to San Jose airport. Property is in a gated community and has its own security gate. Jeff was helpful. My only reason for a 4 out of 5 is that the pictures of the property are a work of art. The property is nice and you'll enjoy it but it's not quite as nice as the pictures depict.

The property was stunning. We had everything we needed to cook breakfasts before heading out for the day. The rooms were well appointed with comfy beds. The backyard pool is beautiful with plenty of seating for a large group. We communicated with the host several times and he was always very quick to respond and helpful.
