A Private Guest House on the Wine Route with King Bed, Hot Tub, Fire Pit, & BBQ

Hi, we’re Arica & Joshua, your hosts here at The Vineyard Retreat.

I (Arica) grew up as a city girl. I consider myself down to earth, but I have a deep appreciation for online shopping, spa days (not as often as I’d like), and sleeping on soft, crisp sheets. My biggest joys come from my family and caring for other people. I enjoy anticipating others’ needs and saving the day with a thoughtful gesture.

Josh is a county boy at heart, who feels most alive when out exploring in nature, creating, restoring, or building something. He’s a hands-in-the-dirt/mud/oil kind of guy, with a heart of gold and amazing attention to detail. This man can mend a dress, give his daughter a ponytail, and tune a motor in a 24-hour timeframe.

The Vineyard Retreat is the perfect combination of what we both love, a place where comfort and nature work in perfect harmony. We hope you will enjoy your stay!

Although the Vineyard Retreat is close by to some incredible restaurants and wineries, we wanted you to be able to do some light cooking during your stay (if you want to). Inside the kitchen, you will find granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a microwave convection oven, two induction cooktops, quality pots and pans, cooking accessories, spices, olive oil, balsamic vinaigrette, and our coffee and tea station.

The living room includes an HD large screen, smart TV that you log into your accounts (ex. Netflix, AmazonPrime, etc…) and catch up on the next episode of your favourite show. The hardwood floors have in-floor heating. Also provided is a sleeper love seat that converts into a double bed. Just in front of the window looking out is a cozy table and chairs for two.

The bathroom is equipped with a large glass-enclosed shower, large enough for two people with body massaging jets to help you relax. Provided for you are soft and fluffy towels, blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash.

From the living room, you will enter the bedroom through sliding barn doors. Inside you’ll find 11-foot ceilings, a King sized bed with soft, breathable linens. An iron, ironing board, and charging station are provided for your convenience.

Just outside your door is a Hydro Spas hot tub, barbecue, slate patio with fire pit and plenty of stacked wood. There is a hammock ready for you to take a nap in or catch up on some reading.

Besides sitting by a roaring fire at night, there is a dazzling firefly display at dusk by the thousands.

The Vineyard Retreat offers some unique benefits! Out and about you'll find wineries, breweries, beaches, fruit & veggie stands, friendly folks, quiet places, and nature to explore! If you prefer to stick around the retreat, you'll find:

Outside: A patio, with bonfire pit, well-maintained hot tub, Adirondack chairs, and BBQ.

Inside: A comfortable King-sized bed, breathable soft linens, fresh white towels, robes, a fully functional kitchen, sleeper sofa, and a large glass-enclosed shower with massaging jets.
