D Gowdy Suite 2 is a modern 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. Decorated with the help of legendary local photographer and artist Micheal Underwood. Enjoy the beauty of the San Juan Mountains during the day and then again in the evening with the amazing Underwood photography in this elegant comfortable Suite. Located within walking distance of town park, Lake City Brew Pub, several restaurants and activities, 0.6 miles.

The space

Bedroom 1 comfortable Queen bed and bedding. Bedroom 2 comfortable Queen bed and bedding. New fold down Full size modern sleeper couch. There are 2 full size bathrooms with roomy oversized showers. A full kitchen with full size fridge, microwave and stove. We Provide soap, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper, Pots pans etc

This Suite 2 is located on the second floor of the building against the side of a mountain creating the ultimate back porch privacy. Amazing mountain views abound.

Great property and wonderful hosts! Lake City is a great, jumping off spot for all of the activities that this part of Colorado has to offer. The Gowdy’s are wonderful hosts , and easy to get a hold of if you have any issues. We will definitely stay here again!

Lake city getaway

Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. Jim gave us a plethora of information of things to do. We explored the Alpine Loop, did some hiking and visited the old mines. Loved going up to Windy Point at night to see the stars. Enjoyed the hot tub and found everything we needed to cook. Especially liked the small touches in the condo like noise machines in the rooms. Would stay there again.

Perfect Lake City apartment

Great 2 bed 2 bath apartment in downtown Lake City. My wife, another couple and I spent two nights at this gem of a place in Lake City. We used the fire pit on the first night and the hot tub. The next day, we hiked Handies Peak and again used the hot tub. The kitchen had all the utensils needed and the place was perfect. Being my first time to Lake City, I would definitely rent this place again.

Star gazing in the area was amazing!

Very small apartment. Fairly well stocked. Comfortable accommodations. Had a great deck. Has a hot tub but we didn't use. Oven hadn't been cleaned in awhile and when we used it to toast garlic bread for dinner it set the smoke detectors off as it burned off whatever was in there. Was pretty small for four people but we enjoyed our stay. Jim was very nice and personable.
