Completely renovated in century home nestled amongst beautiful gardens, a spectacular inground, heated pool and picturesque views of Osler Bluff & The Blue Mountains.

Come discover the warmth & authentic charm of this exquisite century home, impeccable decor and large bright windows. Comes fully equipped with everything you need to make your vacation a comfortable and enjoyable one. This open concept home sleeps four and features cathedral ceilings, fully equipped kitchen, sunken living room, 1 full bathroom and 2 half bathrooms, porcelain & hardwood floors, propane furnace, air conditioning, satellite HDTV and WIFI. A beautiful covered porch uniquely designed on the 2nd floor is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee and evening sunsets. Guests also have exclusive access to the private heated inground pool, featuring a cabana with wet bar! The cabana is equipped with a fridge, stove, & cooking utensils - perfect for cooking on the outdoor BBQ. The pool area features outdoor lighting providing the perfect balance of illumination & ambience in the evening. There is also a changeroom/bathroom conveniently located beside the cabana.

Guests can also enjoy a private trail that winds through forests, meadows and ponds. The trail is located on the property and can be used for hiking, snowshoeing or cross country skiing. Difficulty level: Easy

We are located less than 10 minutes to downtown Collingwood, 15 minutes to The Blue Mountains & Interwest, 15 minutes to the beautiful sandy beaches of Wasaga Beach, Wasaga Casino and just 10 minutes to the Scandinavae Spa!

We are close to many winter activities including downhill & cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, snowmobile trails, and the popular Nordic Centre at the Scenic Caves!

Guests are asked to bring their own linen and towels.

Check-in time is between 4:00 - 9:00pm (unfortunately we CANNOT accommodate early check-ins). Check-out time is 11am.

Please note: the pool is closed and will re open for the season on June 12 2026 and closed on September 21 2026

Beautiful Property and Friendly Hosts!

Had a great time staying here, my wife and I tried to spend as much time in the pool as possible. The property was very clean and it is clear that the Rentners have put a lot of love and work into making the property feel as comfortable as possible. We would gladly stay here again and hope to do so in the future!!

Beautiful inside and out

Our stay at Bowmore House is memorable for all the best reasons. The design choices in the house are beautiful, and everything was very clean and well organized. The property is maintained with care, adding to the gorgeous mountain view. Upon arrival, John the host was readily available and just a super friendly guy who was open to questions. We enjoyed walking the trail and a couple fun surprises made us gleeful. We are looking forward to another trip there already!

John was a professional host, very welcoming and polite. The property was outstanding. Everything you see is as advertised! The house is very well kept and private. John even checked the pool filters for us. The pool is warm and comfortable. The view from the onsite balcony was outstanding. And the outdoor cabana is full loaded. it is 1000% a second kitchen for pool area. All the flowers bushes and trees on the property were very lovely and added to the privacy and ambiance. Our only regret is we didn’t find this property sooner. Looking very forward to returning and even renting his other locations! Thank you again 10 stars !

Beautiful property

My family stayed at this beautiful property for three nights. For the most part you get what is advertised. The property is fully equipped with cooking and eating utensils, coffee maker (including filters), toaster, kettle and even a crockpot. All major appliances in the house (fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher) were in working order. The outside bar did not have a tv as featured in the pictures but not a big deal as we spent most of our time enjoying the heated pool. The satellite radio playing your favourite music station while swimming was a nice added touch. Only downside for us was when we booked the property had advertised a queen size bed in the loft but all beds are doubles. Overall, the property has so much to enjoy it’s definitely worth the stay. Thanks John for an enjoyable experience!
