Pretty Provencal house with its private garden in a large silkworm

The house is located on the Uchaux massif (north Vaucluse), surrounded by nature, in the middle of the vineyards, 2 km from Rochegude, bakery easily accessible by bike, 10 km from Mondragon, 7 km from Bollène (supermarkets) and 12 km Orange. Avignon is 45 minutes away by motorway.

It is an old and vast silkworm factory, end of XVIII, which like many houses in Provence, grew with the marriages with the installation of the children nearby.
We reserve for rental part of this beautiful set, house of 90 m2 with interior courtyard, restored in 2014.
On the ground floor, large living room, travertine floor, with American kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, induction hob, fridge, oven and dishes), lounge area with 2 sofas, armchairs + flat screen , small office. 1 WC.

Upstairs, nice bathroom with walk-in travertine shower, 1 WC, stone floor + 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom is very spacious, 160 bed, terracotta floor, stone wall and windows overlooking the garden. The 2nd bedroom is equipped with 2 single beds.

The walls are covered either with Tadelak in different tones, or coated with Roussillon ocher. The whole gives off a very warm atmosphere with furniture found in France and during our trips abroad.
You will appreciate the interior courtyard for your meals, garden furniture and BBQ or the freshness that a large porch faces the house in the hottest hours.

Access to our fully fenced and secure swimming pool with a gate difficult for the little ones to access. The dimensions are 7x5 with a depth of 1.50 m, the overflow is done on a paddling pool. Tiled beach with sunbathing and parasols. Hours: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

In the region, you can also cool off in the water for swimming (surveillance and games for children as well as in rivers, Saint Martin d'Ardèche (village at the bottom of the Gorges de l'Ardèche) located 20 mins and the Sautadet waterfalls 35 mins.

Tennis can be practiced in Suze la Rousse and Bollène, golf 15 and 20 km away. The Uchaux massif at 500 m has pretty mountain bike routes and shaded paths for family outings. Climbing possibility at Dentelles de Montmirail (Gigondas) 20 kms away and canoeing in the Ardèche Gorges
The region is very rich in cultural sites such as Avignon, Orange, Vaison la Romaine, Grignant, Mont Ventoux and many others.

On your arrival, we will be happy to tell you about the famous Provence markets, wine lovers, some good cellars and the possibility of an internship at the wine university in the castle of Suze la Rousse.

Also to discover the troglodyte village of Barry or the Fortress of Mornas, where, during a very fun visit, knights and beautiful ladies will make you discover their life in the 13th century, very appreciated even by the youngest, just like the safari from Peaugres in Ardèche, the crocodile farm in Bollène or the old-fashioned circus of the Château de Piolenc.
