First time at Folly had a blast! Although the place isn’t on the beach it is walking distance to everything! Great time!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hudson - Seagrass. Ample room, comfy beds, decent kitchen, clean pool. Great location as well. You can walk to everything, but a golf cart rental from Folly Beach Golf Cart Rentals makes it easy to get to less crowded areas of the beach. Mackenzie at Luxury Simplified Retreats answered all questions and gave great recommendations. Would rent from them again.
should have had a light on when we arrived....
weather was cold so we needed heat .. took a day or so to resolve but all good in the end. very responsive team.

The house was new, clean and very comfortable. However, my suggestion to the owner is that the home needs a bit more amenities for 6 guests -- specifically more than 1 set of dishes. Even though we ate dinner out in the evening, it was necessary to wash dishes and eating utensils frequently. Again, for 6 people it is not properly stocked. The bar stools need to be switched out to counter height rather than bar height -- obviously very difficult to eat at the wrong level. Also could use extra blankets for the beds and a few extra towels. Lastly it would be nice to have a small flat screen TV in one or two of the bedrooms.

2 issues, prior to check in I asked the concierge for a chef recommendation. They responded sure. But never got back with me. I finally did my own research and found chef ED who was fantastic! Then I had to reach out at 4 for my code. The wrong address was given to me. So checking in was a nightmare. We were there during a really cold snap and there were no throws. The house location is good if you like to eat out and have some cocktails! It can get a little loud at night. But really not to bad this time of year! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The location of the house is perfect! Very quick walk to shopping, food and the beach. This was especially good for our group as we had a couple of teens who could go to the Pier or walk around town without needing a ride anywhere. We did not have a golf cart and did not feel like we needed one.
Having the pool was a great option for spending a couple of days outside when it was too windy and chilly to be at the beach.
The only things I would mention are that the house was not as clean as I would have expected given the fact that we didn't check in early. There were a few large "dog hair dust bunnies" on the floor/rugs. Management offered to send housekeeping back immediately but it was already after 4 pm and easier just to clean it up myself. There is only one washcloth per person allotted for the stay. I feel like 2 per guest is really a minimum needed unless you want to do laundry every day.
Management was very responsive to any requests and/or questions that I had, Overall a great stay and we would definitely book again!

Everything about this residence and location was absolutely wonderful. Folly / Charleston was an incredible place to get engaged : ) We did have an unresolvable issue with the heating system which made for some very cold nights but luckily that did not spoil our trip.

The property was great, owner was responsive and we had a great week. Only issue was the air conditioning. Of the 5 wall units in the house, only 2 worked despite the HVAC guy coming three times.

The house is very clean & in a great location. There was a little noise from the bar across the street on a Friday night but nothing to complain about. The LowLife bar is a great place to stop for a quick bite & drink. Try the waffle fries... you won’t regret it. The house is only 3 short blocks to the beach. Communication with the host was excellent. Check in & out were fast & easy. I would highly recommend this rental.

Home is exceptional and close to the beach and restaurants. Great little backyard with garden pool. Only issue is the bar across the street is noisy and draws a sketchy crowd.
Beautiful place to stay in the Heart of Folly beach!
Walking distance to the beach and local restaurant and shops. We loved our place! We we’re able to take the Dogs to the beach in the morning and relaxed by the pool in the afternoon. Perfect vacation spot.
Took an Uber to Charleston Sunday of our stay. (total cost 32.00 round trip)
And only a 45 minute drive to a popular plantation. There’s so much to do!!
The house is luxury.

Only tip, make sure you bring extra of Paper towels, toilet paper , dish washing soap and we recommend buying food before you get to folly. It’s expensive at the islands stores.

This is a great location, enjoyed the pool, and the pillow-top beds! However, we did not have cool air for two nights in one bedroom, and water coming down in another room due to A/C problems. This obviously was a problem before we arrived by the response that we got when reported. Customer service was quick and very nice, but it took to long, and too much of my vacation working this out.
Also, there is no drawer space in 2 of the bedrooms, so had to live out of my suitcase. Also, no soap dish or place to put your soap or shower items, in the master bedroom.
