Welcome to "My Beach Alibi" the perfect Miramar Beach and lake front vacation home with a private pool and quick access to the private community beach. Every room has been professionally decorated to flow and work together in harmony.

Heat the pool for $55/day!

4 chairs and 2 umbrellas are set up on the beach. Just ask the attendant for the My Beach Alibi setup! Available only from March 1 to October 31.

Starter Pack: We provide our guests with a starter amenity pack of Gilchrist & Soames hand and body soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, trash can liners, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, dish sponges, coffee packs, and laundry detergent pods. Once the initial amenities are depleted, guests are responsible for supplying their own amenities.

Cancellation Policy: 100% refund when bookings are cancelled 60 days (or more) before the start of the stay. Bookings canceled between 59 and 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% refund. For your protection, we encourage you to procure Traveler’s Insurance. Guests are required to electronically sign the rental agreement within TWO days of booking; otherwise, the reservation is subject to cancellation.

Great Property! Very Quiet

Nice home, well equipped and everything was very clean. Enjoyed the deck and outside area. We had a couple of minor maintenance hiccups but they were addressed immediately. The beach service was not very accommodating. We had to call 2 different days to get service set up and then the guy told us to find something open.

My Beach Alibi was an amazing property. Perfect location! The home was beautifully decorated. Very well equipped home also. We had a problem getting the fire pit started. They had someone out the next morning to get it running. We would definitely rent here again.

Every year I take my kids and grandkids for our annual family vacation. We chose My Beach Alibi on Miramar Beach this year. Best decision ever! Plenty of space for everyone. Impeccable decor! The location is excellent! The pool, the deck, the layout of the house, and the only TWO minute walk to the beach! Literally surrounded by tons of things to do and see! We already tried to book it for next year but it’s full. 😓. We will always keep this house at the top of our greatest destinations yet!!! Thank you for everything!!

Beautiful beach retreat

My family enjoyed a beautiful week at the beach. The property is beautifully decorated. We were disappointed that a starter kit was given with regards to dish soap, toilet paper, paper towel. We were a party of 9 and 2 rolls of TP and a mini dish soap would not last the week. There were not any spices or basic necessities provided. We had a fabulous time but have had this provided at all other VRBO stays. I would stay at this property again.

Beautiful Home & Great Location for a Family Vacation

In June 2025, we stayed at My Beach Alibi through Beyond Blue Vacations. The home has an excellent design from the open family and dining room to the kitchen. The 4 bedrooms worked perfectly for my wife and me, our daughter’s family of 4, and our son’s family of 6. We especially loved the outdoor area which included a covered deck, sunbathing space, and an awesome pool with a water feature. The grandkids and others really enjoyed the pool time as some are not ocean people in terms of getting in the Gulf.The only negative comment is we had an AC issue for the entire stay, which comprised of an irritating intermittent squeal from the interior AC unit loud enough to disrupt the sleeping at night and the 2nd floor was reaching 75-76 degrees. However, over a few days I worked with Beyond Blue and they provided 2 portable AC units and a fan to supplement the fans we had. I must state that conversations with 5 separate Beyond Blue people, including 2 maintenance technicians in person, were nothing less than professional. They did listen sincerely and made every effort to address our concerns and needs to make the stay a positive one. Additionally, they did provide a partial but sizable monetary refund, which was greatly appreciated!The bottom line is even with the AC issue it was a great family vacation. Would we stay at My Beach Alibi again? Definitely…yes! [This assumes the AC will be fixed. :)] Also, would we rent through Beyond Blue a third time? Yes!

My only complaint, and it's a minor one, is that it could have been stocked better. There were no extra trash bags, toilet paper or paper towels. Also, beach/pool towels would have been nice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend.

Gorgeous Beach House, Perfect Location, Super Close to Beach!!!

We all were amazed when we walked through the door!!! This gorgeous house looks exactly as pictured and was spotless. Located in a gated community, we felt very safe the entire time and its a quiet area. Probably 2 to 3 minutes walk from the private access beach. We were grateful for the reserved 4 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas whenever we went during the day. We did have to call the Host about the beach setup, but that's only because the beach attendant didn't have his info correct. After speaking with Beyond Blue Vacations, the promptly handled the matter and we had no issues the next time. The kitchen is very spacious and has everything you'll need, though I prefer cast iron over non stick pans. I do wish there was a stainless steel kettle, but still not a huge deficit. The blender was good to have. The layout of the bedrooms were perfect. Our kids loved the bunk room upstairs and the master bedroom/ bathroom (huge tub) was perfect!! The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool as well and nice outdoor dining space. The kids found the games in the cabinet near the dining table indoors so that was fun. They also provided pool toys in the chest beside the pool and beach toys in the closet inside the garage. Bring your own beach towels. Wifi worked perfect even with our 7 devices being used. We absolutely love this house and would definitely stay here again!! The perfect vacation house.

My Beach Alibi June 14-21, 2025

The house was very nice. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed and the house was furnished well. It matched, or exceeded the description and expectations. The location was fantastic. Beach access was a very short walk. Chair and umbrella setup was ready early each morning and plenty of additional beach chairs were available. Shopping and dining was also easily accessible, some within walking distance.

The back deck/pool area is great.The kids love to see the turtles off the back deck. It's great to have the beach setup and the beach access is easy and close. It has a large kitchen and plenty of seating in the living area. Would love to see ceiling fans added in the bedrooms, a larger/private bathroom for the main floor and outside furniture for the u/s balcony, but overall an amazing property and a little hidden gem in Destin. You can walk to the Surf Hut and there is a great Chinese place across the street. We found yummy sushi at Zen Japanese Grill. Outlet mall is just across the street if you need a little break from the sun.

Beautiful and convenient

The house was absolutely gorgeous! The pictures didn’t do it justice. It was bigger in person and just so beautiful. The short walk to the beach, grocery store and shopping centers was the icing on the cake. The host was amazing. We originally didn’t have the pool heated and when I called to have it done they sent someone right away and it heated up instantly.

Great house and awesome beach access

The house was very nice and the location to the beach was even better than in the image. You walk directly onto the beach from the neighborhood. It was beautiful and we loved having the chair setup and umbrellas. It was great to have the beach toys & extra chairs. Also, the pool was wonderful! We were a little disappointed that there were no spices/seasonings. It would be nice if they leave things like salt & pepper for other guests instead of having to buy everything. But, it was a great place and we really did enjoy the house!

My Beach Alibi

We loved this house! Gorgeous home which is steps away from the beach. Our family loved the pool after a long day on the beach. Loved being able to walk down the beach to the Surf Hut for a drink or a quick meal. So happy we stayed here and look forward to our return next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love staying at this property. The location is absolutely the most convenient. It's also so safe in this gated community. Security is wonderful! We did however encounter a group of rowdy spring breakers right next door. Thankfully they took care of the issue and we only had to deal with these partiers for 2 nights. If I could make any recommendations, I would say that the maintenance free decking under the pergola (as you are heading to the ocean) had screws popping out all over. My daughter did step on one. Other than that, we will come again!
