Escape to the peaceful shores of Plum Island and experience the perfect blend of coastal charm and modern comfort in our delightful beach cottage. Our cottage is nestled on a quiet side street just a 3 minute walk from Plum Island beach and less than 5 minutes to restaurants, convenience store, ice cream and other shops. You'll find yourself in a prime location to soak up the sun, surf, and seaside bliss when you stay here.

Our cottage offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal retreat for couples, families, or a small group of friends.

There are two bedrooms, each with one full bed, and one full bathroom. The TV room has 2 pull out couches that each have a full sized bed, newly replaced windows that let in a nice breeze and lots of light and an Apple TV. There is newly installed central AC for those hot summer days. You have options for outdoor relaxing - there is a front deck with chairs and a coffee table and a large backyard with tables, lounge chairs, a grill and yard games for you to enjoy.

You will have access to the entire house but note that there is another unit in the basement you will not have access to. This unit will not be rented out while you are staying here. We may pop into this unit (never your unit) on occasions but not without advance notice and confirmation from guests.

The perfect summer getaway. Location is amazing. Easy access to the beach, restaurants, and fun. The house looks exactly like the pictures and was super clean. It was so nice to have linens and towels provided. I didn't have to think about anything. I can't wait to return next summer.

Awesome vacation home

This home is as amazing as the owners who loaned it to us for a week. They keep it So clean and cozy, with everything you need for a great vacation. So much room inside and outside. The horseshoe pits and corn hole was an added plus which we took full advantage of. Walking distance to everything and we were able to walk to the beach every morning to see the sunrise . Would recommend this property to anyone unless it’s the week that we want to rent it.😊

Awesome Vacation!

Very nice street! Relaxing. Beach is about a 2/3 min walk to the beach. House was perfect. Food was excellent. Beach was clean and not over crowded. House owner was very attentive. House was beautifully set up. Everything we needed at our fingertips! Nights were so relaxing with a cool sea breeze and a sky full of stars. Loved sitting on the deck. Will be back again!

Great home & location!

My husband, daughter, son-in-law and I stayed at this property from July 1-5 and really enjoyed our stay. It was very helpful that we were not required to stay a minimum of 1 week because we only had five remaining days after attending a family wedding in the White Mountains of NH the weekend before. The home was super clean and well-maintained. Although only two bedrooms, there is a front room of the house with two pull out sofas that easily could accommodate more guests, if needed. The house was conveniently located maybe a 4 minute walk to the beach. There was an ice cream store, a small grocery, a bar/cafe and a pizza business close by. (Pizza place was closed when we investigated- not sure why.) The beach was lovely and clean as well as not too crowded, despite it being July 4th. My husband enjoyed morning walks at the Parker River Wildlife Refuge nearby. As it was a short drive away, we were able to go to restaurants and bars in Newburyport (highly recommend Loretta). The home had little amenities that made a huge difference, like a Keurig Coffee maker and pods, beach chairs and family board games, all of which we availed ourselves of and enjoyed. Check in and check out was simple with the lockbox and posted procedures. I do wish there was a second bathroom (or even a half bath) but we learned to be quick and give everyone a chance in the bathroom as needed. (An outdoor shower would have helped!) Overall an excellent stay and a communicative owner! Thanks! Will be back

Wonderful Island Cottage

Everything was clean and updated. The location is perfect walking distance to the beach and multiple restaurants. Good space for 5 people- 3 adults, 1 teen and 1 kid. Would absolutely recommend.

Pricey for what you get

Property was nice enough and manager was excellent. I just thought the price was way too high for the furnishings. Beds were not very comfortable and no dishwasher. I was fine with all that but felt the price was not in line with the furnishings.

Ideal location with all you need for great vacation

Immaculate place with everything you need to relax and kick back. The shed is full of wonderful sports equipment available to renters, so no need to even bring your own boogie board. Ideal location too - walking distance to beach, restaurants, convenience store and ice cream. So parking is not an issue, , which is super important at Plum Island because of limited parking. Go and enjoy!

More than expected

Unfortunately, I didn't get to go this year, so this is based on the feedback from my sister (co-renter) and our girls week friends. Very clean, closer to the beach than expected, great place to just get-away to and relax. Really liked the area. Bethany is great at answering any questions they had. Would not hesitate to rent from Bethany again.

A Delightful Little House

This is a delightful little house about 2.5 blocks from the beach and about the same to several restaurants and an incredible view of the sunset. It is also only a short drive or walk to the Nature Reserve and some beautiful hikes (and great bird watching). The house is nicely decorated with a very cozy feel. Upon entering the kitchen, we were greeted with flowers, a lovely note, and a bottle of wine left by our host – a nice touch. We found all the necessary utensils in the kitchen to prepare our meals and we took advantage of the gas grill behind the house. The beds were very comfortable and there are lots of nice spaces to relax and read or play games. We also appreciated the beach chairs on the porch and made use of them on several visits to the oceanfront. Overall, very conveniently located and hospitable. It definitely enhanced our Memorial Weekend getaway.
