Located in Valhalla--a coveted westside neighborhood--our home is on the end of a cul-de-sac, on a huge lot and surrounded by mature pines and junipers.

You'll love be minutes from downtown, NW Crossing, Phil's Trail, COCC, Shevlin Park and the Cascade Lakes Highway, placing the best of Bend at your doorstep.

Our home is in Valhalla, a well established neighborhood with large lots, mature pine trees and friendly neighbors that take the time to get to know each other well. We are at the end of the cul-de-sac, so it is very quiet with the only traffic coming and going is that of our neighbors. Expect a serene setting filled with smiling faces, kids, dogs and wildlife.

15 minute ride to Phil's Trail
5 minute ride to Shevlin Park
15 minute walk to Northwest Crossing
- Well mannered dogs and their people are welcome for an additional fee. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds (no exceptions), please wipe their feet upon entering the house and be sure to clean up after your pet.

-Because of recent unfortunate events, dogs are not allowed to be left unattended in the house, yard or garage unless crated.

- Be respectful to neighbors by taking conversations inside after 9:00pm.

Perfect! The house was situated in a very nice neighborhood. We travel with a dog and the fenced yard was a hit with Ruby. The beds were comfortable and amenities numerous. It's convenient to Bend and the awesome Newport Avenue grocery. Great place!

Lovely house, very comfortable beds, very well-stocked kitchen. The kitchen is a cook's kitchen where four people can be preparing food at one time with plenty of room. Quiet location perfect for our getaway.

Growing up in Bend, I was very impressed with the house, the property, and the ease of talking to a local homeowner. Comfortable space that’s great for four-legged guests. Close to town and to Shevlin Park. Would definitely stay here again - worth the cost, especially if you have a larger group!

Absolutely loved our stay here, the kitchen was fully stocked, the house is immaculately decorated and our dog loved the beautiful backyard. The neighborhood is so peaceful too. We went hiking to a few different places and this house was the perfect location for it. Will be back again soon for sure!

Perfect way to visit Bend in a location that made it easy to navigate to downtown or the forests. Comfy beds, spacious bathrooms, large kitchen, clean and organized. Hot tub under the stars was a bonus. Plenty of room for the dog to play in the yard.

Amazing beautiful home

We stayed here for 9 nights with our two dogs and cousins. Just wow…I love everything about this house - the layout, functionality of the space and the big beautiful kitchen. The neighborhood is amazing and our dogs loved the big, beautiful yard. The location is close to NWX, COCC (community college) and beautiful Shevlin Park for great nature walks. A+ I’d definitely stay here again.

Serendipity in Bend

Wonderfully appointed, impeccably maintained modern home. The house is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, yet is less than a 10-minute drive to various attractions and restaurants in and around Bend. The home is spacious, very comfortable, and offers a beautiful yard and patio area. I recommend the aptly named Serendipity House without reservation.

We loved staying in this home. It has a nice open floor plan, huge kitchen with tons of counter space, comfortable sleeping accommodations, and was very clean. The owners put a lot of energy into creating a peaceful ambiance with their decor and unique furnishings. The master suite had a beautifully renovated bathroom with a large walk in shower. The other queen bedroom and attached bathroom was equally as nice. The owner was very sweet and it was obvious that she really cared about us enjoying our stay. We will definitely be coming back!

An absolute gem!

What a wonderful home! It is laid out beautifully for friends to stay as each main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. There were 2 adults and a couple of dogs. Everyone had a fabulous time. The large fenced backyard was a giant plus for the dogs. They ran and played and chased birds for hours! The house is in an established, quiet neighborhood and was a close drive to everything we needed and wanted to see. A complete success!

Blissful month-long stay in Bend

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this fantastic property in Bend, Oregon. The home is laid out perfectly with two en-suite bedrooms and a large well appointed kitchen. People wanting to prepare their own meals have access to a plethora of vessels (pots, pans, etc.) and utensils, which are necessary to properly cook for the group. Plus, there's a Traeger smoker/grill in the backyard that is easy to use. We prepared smoked Sockeye salmon and Chicken breasts in this Traeger....and they came out delicious. Now we need to go out and buy one! This home is located on a very cul-de-sac and has super comfortable beds......which made for one of the most peaceful stays we ever had at a rental property. Or maybe it was just the fatigue from hiking and biking on all the trails in the surrounding area. Oh....and do check-out all the breweries and food trucks when not cooking in. Bend has some of the best in the U.S. Believe me, you will not be disappointed in booking this home for your next holiday!

We moved to Bend in 1998, drawn here for the sunshine and recreation. We are avid outdoorsmen who love hiking, biking, camping, skiing, river rafting, dogs and drinking beer by the fire. We recently moved to Eastern Oregon full time, and continue to spend lots of time in Bend.

Why they chose this property

We waited five years for the perfect house to become available in Valhalla! We love this gem in an old established Bend neighborhood because of the large lots, mature trees, and amazing neighbors. Our neighbors are family!

Our house was completely remodeled in 2017-2018. We knocked down walls, opened up spaces, added new windows and outdoor gathering spaces. It's our part time home, and we are happy to share it with like minded travelers.

What makes this property unique

We are on the end of a cul-de-sac, so we have a lot of privacy and quiet. Our neighborhood was built without street lights, so we are one of the few places in the city where you can see the stars. And being on the west side means we are super close to trails and the great outdoors.
