Decorated in tasteful Americana decor this home provides plenty of comfortable space for your entire group! The comfortable living room is perfect for movie nights, and the fully equipped kitchen and extensive dining table offer ample space for preparing and enjoying meals together.

The primary bedroom, located on the main floor, is a bright, peaceful space and the downstairs bathroom features an extra-long vanity with double sinks.

Upstairs, you'll find two more bedrooms and an additional full bathroom providing lots of comfortable sleeping options for your whole group!

Nestled in the Northwoods neighborhood at Camp Howdy, you can enjoy easy access to alpine activities in the winter, hiking, biking, swimming and more in the summer. This home provides the perfect home base for exploring all that the area has to offer. Whether you're seeking adventure on the slopes or relaxation in the great outdoors, Camp Howdy is the perfect place to call home during your Tahoe vacation.

*Please note*:
- There is a per-person, per-day fee to access the club amenities, and rates are subject to change. Please refer to the Tahoe Donner Association Amenities website for details.
- In the winter, snow tires and 4WD/AWD are required. If your car is not equipped with both, please be sure to have chains, this home has a steep driveway.
- Outdoor furniture and grills may not be available November-May.
- This home has a security camera behind the garage.

Each eligible property is issued 6 guest cards to access the recreation amenities available in Tahoe Donner Association. Guests that fail to leave all 6 guest cards in the home after checkout will be subject to a $100 fine per missing card. Children under the age of 3 are free.

Full Terms + Conditions supplied upon booking and completion of signatures on the Booking Confirmation/Rental Agreement contract required for booking to be confirmed.

Perfect for our group

Perfect place to spend a cozy weekend celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary. The open concept was perfect to keep everyone together. The seating was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and it was great to have a large bedroom with a full bathroom on the main floor. Easy check-in/out. Clean and exactly as we expected.

My excitement was a super stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook! Decor was great - they have worked hard to make it very cozy, inviting and comfortable for families! We will definitely stay there when we visit the area again! Wonderful family memories were made!

The house was perfect, we had a little issue with a key not working, but the management company took care of it right away. We enjoyed the quiet, super clean house and the kitchen was very well stocked. The towels are very nice (thank you).

Loved Camp Howdy!

Thank you for a wonderful couple of days away in Tahoe! We loved the cabin, it was comfortable, clean and had almost everything we needed. While the TV media wasn't as high tech as we are used to, it was probably for the better.....we played more games and read more books! The location was perfect and we will definitely check back next winter to stay in one of your rentals in the area. Thanks!

Camp Howdy Tahoe Donner stay

The only reason I gave 1-star rating is that I didn't have to communicate with property manager. There was no "N/A" choice. The stay was comfortable. We skied in Boreal, and it was very convenient. Also, the location is convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. The place was clean, well-stocked in terms of cooking utensils and other essential items. There are a few small broken items - towel rod near the sink in the 1st floor bath, but none of these were an irritant. Will definitely consider revisits.

Cute, cozy but just okay

This house is cute and cozy however it doesn’t have that upscale clean feeling that the photos show. Once you arrive you can tell that it is an older cabin that was renovated. Unfortunately you can also tell that the renovations done were done cheaply. There are noticeable issues where the owners did not complete the renovations to cut costs. Such as in the closets down stairs, there is still the old laminate flooring from the 70s. The upstairs bathtub/shower insert has some heavy ant issues. Everyday giant carpenter ants as well and a few spiders are coming through the seems of the shower insert. The beds are also extremely uncomfortable. The kitchen is also very disorganized. The cabinets are so full with so many random kitchen items that it’s hard to find the items that are needed. They also have close to a hundred large kitchen knives all in these random cabinets. I had to do a quick childproofing of the kitchen and move the knives up higher and out of reach of my toddler. Although we had a lovely time in Truckee, I likely will not be returning to this cabin. These are just a few small issues that the owners can change in order to make the home feel nicer for their guests.

Clean house in very good location.

The location was great with easy access from the main road. The initial impression was good when open the door - well decorated and cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is remodeled and well-equipped but wished for newer cookwares because some of them were worn out quite badly. Also experienced great service from the rental agent when I couldn't turn on the facet in a bathroom. Although I messaged them late evening, they responded very quickly to help me out and it was resolved soon. The only thing I didn't like was the cleanness of the bed sheets. The pillows and sheets were covered by types of hairs, so had to wash all of them before sleeping for the first time of my many vacation rental experience. The cleaning crew would have done better job.

This was the perfect place

This was the perfect place for our 2 families of 4 adults and 2 kids. I've stayed in a lot of Tahoe rentals, and this is the best so far for this size group. It was really important to us to find a house with 2 bathrooms that were NOT en suite, as that puts everyone but one couple at a disadvantage. So that box was checked. What we loved specifically about this house is that it has beautifully updated kitchen and bathrooms, excellent furniture that was both comfy and there was enough of it, and it had lots of charm and character without all the tired Tahoe cliches (e.g., bears everywhere). It felt like the owners really thought about what people would like and included it, but didn't throw stuff in to be "cute". It was also sparkling clean. The location was awesome for proximity to Truckee and Sugarbowl, where we skied. We definitely plan to return.

Great Location - Great House!

We've stayed all over this neighborhood and this was the most convenient location yet. The house is updated and although not very large, fit our family of 5 perfectly. Lots of open space for snow play, easy in and out from Northwoods Blvd, and a well set up house.

Camp Howdy is a family favorite

Our second stay did not disappoint! My only suggestion is more paper products. It was our experience this summer that there wasn’t enough TP or paper towels. We were prepared and brought extra this time and they were needed. Everything else is just the best!
