This is off-grid living all powered by solar and mother nature.
The linens are all provided for you.
You can also expect to find all the necessary kitchen utensils and dishes to prepare a scrumptious meal for your family. There is a refrigerator, 2 burner range, toaster oven, microwave and coffee maker in the kitchen and there is also a BBQ grill with side burner just off the deck that you may use. The only thing you need to bring is food and drink!
The lodge is GREEN! Well it’s really tan colored but it’s green because it runs of solar power. For this reason, we ask that you leave all your power tools and space heaters at home. There are small energy efficient fans provided for your use. You are not permitted to bring any other fans, appliances or any other items that consume power other than small low energy consuming electronic devices. Please remember to turn off lights and other devices that are not in use.
During your stay you are welcome to enjoy the lake, we have kayaks just under the deck and a paddle-boat tied to the floating dock. You are welcome to use them all, weather permitting, just please return them to their proper place and in the same condition you found them in. The lake is deep so please make sure to keep any non-swimmers safe with the use of flotation devices. If you plan to fish you are welcome to bring your own fishing gear. The lake is stocked with bluegill, large-mouth bass, and catfish but it is nature so you may find other species that we don’t know about!
We also provide additional seasonal paid experiences for your enjoyment and will communicate those to you after booking.
We also provide firewood so you don't have to worry about packing it!!!
