About this property

Near glacier park. Perfect setting for outdoor enthusiasts. Family friendly.

If you are looking for an authentic Montana vacation and a respite from the hustle and bustle of the real world, this is your place. Arrow S is situated at the end of a dirt road nestled into the Rocky Mountain front.

We like to say it is "where the road ends and life begins"

You will be astounded by the beauty: wildflowers, mountain views, streams and even a waterfall running through the property, and an abundant variety of wildlife including moose, bears, elk, whitetail deer, mule deer, wolves, coyotes, and mountain goats.

This cabin rental is a hand-hewn 1800's cabin which has been recently restored for a comfortable and cozy stay. In addition to the cabin, you are given access to 3000 acres of private ranch land that nestles up against the Rocky Mountain front, near the Bob Marshal Wilderness and Glacier National Park.

You can squeeze up to 8 people in this cabin but is much more comfortable with 2-4 people. This cabin has an open layout with a loft open to the main room. Beds: 1 Queen-sized Murphy Bed (main room) 1 Queen-sized Sofa Bed (main room) 4 Twin Beds (loft) bedding, plush towels, and kitchen necessities for a fully-equipped kitchen are all provided with this cabin rental. We also provide miscellaneous items such as coffee, filters, soap, and basic paper goods.

For your outdoor adventures, we have fishing gear, bear spray, and a backpack. Bring a good pair of hiking boots or sturdy tennis shoes and long pants so you can more easily access all the acres available to you.

Don't forget, we are only 75 miles from Glacier National Park, it is a must-see when you are this close! There are also several popular fishing holes and small rural golf courses in the area. You will be provided with all the area information in our guest book.

There is a creek that runs through the length of the property with brook trout fishing and gold panning opportunities. There are also miles and miles of hiking, we provide maps and suggestions of where to hike.

Bring your horses. We have a corral, barn, water, and can provide feed for your horses. That way you can access not only the 1000's of acres of private land but also the 1000's of acres of forest service land that is next to the ranch.

We think your stay will be one of your most memorable experiences! Please contact us with any questions.

We purchased Arrow S ranch in 2017 with two purposes in mind - to keep it as a working cattle ranch and to create one of the most exclusive vacation rentals to be found. We have lived in the area all of our lives. We've started and grown local businesses here, raised children and grandchildren here, and are proud to call this area home. We operate this ranch as a family business and work together to make your stay as memorable as possible.

Why they chose this property

We've been friends with the prior ranch owner more years than we care to count. He was gracious enough to allow us to hunt and fish on his property for several decades. We have always been astounded by the beauty of this area and thought of it as an if-I-ever-win-the-lottery type of dream. We couldn't believe our luck when we had the opportunity to purchase this gem hidden along the Rocky Mountain front.

It's located at the end of a gravel road that drops you off at the Rocky Mountains. The peace and quiet here are like no other.

What makes this property unique

The view from the cabin takes our breath away every time. You would think a person would get accustomed to the view after a while, but it hasn't happened in 3 years time so it probably won't ever become common place in our eyes.

Occasionally we don’t even leave the yard and it is vacation enough. There is a creek that borders the yard that can be heard babbling from any location around the cabin. There are groves of trees and shrubs surrounding the yard providing a cozy feel, a cool breeze, and summer shade. We often see wildlife wander through the yard; mostly female deer with their fawns and we see the occasional moose or bear.

We love to hop on the side by side and explore the ranch "roads" up the mountainside, to the creek bottom, and to view wildlife.

We are excited to share the love of this ranch with you! We know you will find it as astonishing and magnificent as we do.
