This is a perfect cottage for a couple's retreat, 2 Bedrooms + 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4)
Location: Celina, Grand Lake St. Mary's, Ohio, USA, (45 minutes south of Lima, Ohio, 1 hour north of Dayton, Ohio 1.5 hours from Columbus and 2 hours from Cincinnati, Ohio) Note: We request a two night minimum stay. Accommodations:
Our lake cottage sleeps up to 4 comfortably with two bedrooms, a full guest bath and a full master bath. It is a perfect couples or small family retreat!

Enjoy the beautiful channel and charming neighborhood views from the covered porch. A personal dock extends into the channel that provides a scenic winding path to the open waters of Grand Lake. The location is great for fishing and daytime boat docking. It is in proximity to Windy Point State Park, scenic bike path (2 adult bikes included with rental), numerous lake bars/restaurants, bait shop and marina where you can rent a pontoon. Downtown Celina is a short boat ride across the lake with free day dockage available at the city docks and offers unique shopping and dining experiences. World-famous Eldora Speedway is an easy 20-minute drive south (17 miles). Other local attractions include the Bicycle Museum of America (New Bremen, OH – 15 minutes), Armstrong Air & Space Museum (Wapakoneta, OH – 30 minutes), the historic Miami Erie Canal, and The Shrine of the Holy Relics.

From the porch, the backyard is completely fenced in to protect your precious little ones. (We ask that you leave your pets in good care...They are not permitted on our property.) Relax on the large, comfortable porch and rest at night in the comfortable beds with clean linen that is furnished. The washer and dryer is a handy asset and easy to operate.

The cottage is bright, updated décor, comfortable, fully furnished with an equipped, turn-key kitchen that also includes a coffee bar, microwave, range and a full size fridge. The cottage is an open floor plan with laminate flooring through-out. We are always updating the cottage with project updates, new décor or re-arranging furniture for optimal benefit. We hope you enjoy the space as much as we do!

Amenities:
We provide WI-FI and big-screen smart TV in the living room. The master bedroom and second bedrooms are also equipped with a smart tv's. There is also a supply of books in the book nook and games for your enjoyment. Corn Hole, giant Jenga and Yard Yahtzee are available for outside activity. The cottage is walking or riding distance from one of the local lake restaurants and also a watering hole that provides weekend, evening entertainment. We have provided two bikes and a tandem if you wish to take advantage of the near-by bike path or a cruise through the local campground and landing streets. We also have twin kayaks (and life jackets) for guest enjoyment.

My family and I stayed over the weekend, wishing it were longer especially when it was time to leave. The home is clean, very cozy and well decorated. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Local townships are within a decent driving distance without having to venture out too far. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets; catching a nice breeze swinging under the shade tree on a warm day. Great visit to the Grand Lake

The home is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. From the moment you get there you notice how well-kept the home is, there’s plenty of parking, and it’s a nice quiet neighborhood. We had three adults staying +3 adults coming to visit during the day. There was plenty of seating for the six of us in the porch, in the living room and in the kitchen. The big porch faces the canal and has a relaxing view to enjoy. Heather left lots of thoughtful items such as a welcome gift, Little treats throughout the house, and extra toiletries. The home is a two block walk to 2 local restaurants and a little beach with a beautiful view of the lake and a lighthouse. The next time we visit the lake we will definitely be contacting Heather to stay again

We love this house!

This is a beautiful property. Lovely porch with a great view, lovingly decorated for fall. It's a perfect spot for morning coffee on the porch. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities like the cookies and simple essentials. They came in handy when one of us forgot our toothbrush and there was one provided! This was our second time in this property and we would definitely recommend it.

We hope you enjoy your stay and please don't hesitate to ask questions. We want your stay to be fun and full of laughter, peace, activity or whatever it is you wish to enjoy while you visit Grand Lake St. Marys or the surrounding area.

Why they chose this property

Take advantage of lake access or fishing in a pond atmosphere. Our home is located at the head of 'Golden Pond' channel where you can fish from our dock or from the stone edge. The channel does provide access to Grand Lake St. Marys, so feel free to bring your boat or jet ski's. The cottage has a personal dock that is completely visible from the porch and living areas.
