Our condo is conveniently located in central Mammoth Lakes. With amenities like grocery stores, restaurants, breweries, liquor store, bowling alley all within walking distance. The Mammoth Transit Red Line is close by if you want to go car free. Access to the ski area is a short distance away. The condo is located next to beautiful Mammoth Creek Park. Our condo has 1 bedroom and 1bathroom downstairs as well as the large bright updated kitchen with plenty of seating for everyone. A large comfortable living room that has also been remodeled. The living room has a large 60" cable TV. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. All the bedrooms have queen bed memory foam mattresses. All the bedrooms have flat screen televisions. Hi speed wireless internet is also provided for all your needs. While you are sitting in the living room you can enjoy a great view of Mammoth Creek Park and the Sherwin Mountains. After a long day of your favorite activities, you can enjoy a soak in the Jacuzzi or in the summer take a dip in the pool. The pool opens Memorial Day weekend and closes Labor Day weekend. Mammoth Creek Park offers a beautiful creek, a large new playground. Walking paths and sometimes a deer or two that you may also see from the living room or kitchen windows. The playground is currently closed during the building of the Community Rec Center. Mammoth Creek is a great little fishing spot and a short walk from the condo. We are close to Hayden Cabin which offers varies summer activities. Take the town loop trail which travels right past the condo. From this trail you can access many areas in Mammoth. If you enjoy hiking. There are numerous hiking trails in the Mammoth area. Take some time to go to the lakes basin and check out any one of the 5 lakes in this area. Tamarack Lodge is located at Twin Lakes. This is an historic lodge located in Mammoth. From the lodge you'll have a great view of Twin Falls. Boat and Kayak rentals are available at many of the lakes in this area. You may want to go down to Reds Meadow and check out Devils Post Piles. Take a short hike to Rainbow Falls while in this area. You may be required to take a bus into Reds Meadow. Check out the current requirements.
If you want to venture away from Mammoth check out the Hot Creek, Magee Creek, Convict Lake, June Lake, Lundy Canyon or Virginia Lake. The east entrance into Yosemite and Tioga Pass is a little more than 30 minutes away. You can make Yosemite a day trip from Mammoth.
Please note: The city of Mammoth Lakes is currently building the Future Community Recreation Center in Mammoth Creek Park. Our unit looks out to this future facility. There may be times when this may be a minor nuisance. This is a temporary condition. Currently the city has a completion date of September. The park is closed during this process.
