This condo was the perfect fit for us! Check in and check out instructions were very simple and clear, the pool was warm and well kept except on tree trimming day, the washer and dryer in our room came in handy, beds were comfy, and the beach access was super easy and convenient. Plus there is a Walmart located within a few minutes of the condo making grocery pick up easy!

Happy the in‑room washer/dryer, comfy beds, easy beach access, and nearby Walmart made your stay more convenient. Apologies for the disruption on tree‑trimming day — we appreciate your understanding. We hope to welcome you back for another stay soon.

All was good except the daily 7 am leaf blower and some kind of hammering in the complex.

Thank you for your review. We’re glad most of your stay at Sterling Shores 609 was good. We’re sorry the early-morning leaf blowing and intermittent hammering disrupted your visit. Routine grounds maintenance and occasional association repairs can cause noise; we’ll share your feedback with our onsite team and the condo association to see if timing and communication can be improved. Thank you for letting us know, and we hope to host you again.

Destin condo perfect location

Really enjoyed the convenience of the location and a simple walk across the street to the beach was perfect. Both bedrooms with their own bathroom worked out very well and the view every morning was nice to See. Would definitely rent this condo again.

Awesome Resort and condo

This is our 6th time being in Destin and loved staying at Sterling shores. Great pool for kids and easy access to beach. Very nice and clean grounds. Only thing I would suggest is to have a few more dish towels and couldn’t find any pot holders, which really wasn’t a big deal just used a towel!! We will book this place again!

Great condo. Perfect location. Beds are super comfy. Will definitely stay here again. The only negative is the clothes dryer…it’s pretty old. It takes several rounds to get clothes dry.

Beautiful view

I booked a last minutes weekend getaway for myself, 12 yr old son and husband. We just wanted to relax and we did just that. The view was absolutely beautiful. The beach and restaurant with delicious food was within walking distance. I loved the balcony because I could enter it from my bedroom or the front room. The place was very spacious, clean and neat. I would love to stay here again!

We enjoyed this condo during our stay. The condo was well equipped in the kitchen and bathrooms. We found the condo very clean upon arrival. The beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever had in a rental. One thing is the dryer wouldn’t dry our laundry. We had to run it 3 times to get clothes to fully dry. But that wouldn’t stop us from staying here again.

A great stay!

This was my 6th visit to the Sterling Shores property and my 1st time staying in this condo. The size was great for 4 people and the unit was very clean. Very nice view of the water from the balcony. We will be booking with this unit again in 2025. This unit is directly in front of the elevator which makes loading and unloading convenient. You won't hear the elevator at all from inside.

Our condo was great but all the construction going was annoying. I wish we would have known about but no where were we made aware of it. It should have been in listing or an email making us aware of this. I had even messaged with owner twice and it was not mentioned either. I realize the construction was necessary I just feel we should have been told especially since it was our floor and right outside our door.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Shelley! I’m so glad you enjoyed the condo itself, but I’m really sorry about the construction and the inconvenience it caused during your stay. I completely understand how frustrating that must have been, especially being right outside your door. We’ll make sure to communicate any future construction updates more clearly so guests know what to expect ahead of time. I really appreciate you pointing this out—it helps us improve, and we hope to welcome you back for a smoother, more relaxing stay next time!

Overall ok. Just a few things that need improvement.

We enjoyed the condo. Just a couple of things could have really improved our stay. Basically all appliances seriously need upgrading. The televisions were not smart TVs and the remote didn’t work a lot in the den. All TVs need to be upgraded. The coffee maker was outdated and didn’t turn off automatically. And the iron leaked and needed to be replaced. Just overall the condo needs updating.
