Everything you need to get away, but without having to drive hours off the beaten path to get there. At Burning Creek you will have exclusive use of the 15 acres, private home and pool and spa (seasonal, more information below).

An open floor plan provides a common living area with an 1880's Harvest Table, efficient kitchen, and comfortable living room all pulled together by a Danish wood-burning stove. The kitchen includes a gas cooktop, vented microwave, full-size electric oven, toaster oven, stainless appliances, a refrigerator, and fully stocked cabinets with cookware and dinner ware. The coffee bar includes a drip coffee maker, Kuerig, and French press. This kitchen has everything you need to cook and serve dinner at a table that seats 8 to 10 friends and family.

Amenities include WiFi, flat screen TV, Apple TV (with apps like Netflix, etc.), LG soundbar for music, central heat/air, washer/dryer, Danish wood burning stove, 2 en suite bathrooms, with walk in showers and high-end linens. A third shower with privacy and hot water is located outside for a true summer-in-Texas' experience.

The house comfortably sleeps 10 people in the following arrangement:
Bedroom #1 - King Bed
Bedroom #2: King Bed
Bedroom #3 (loft): One regular Twin bed, one convertible Twin bed that pulls out to make into a King (two identical mattresses lay side by side on the same platform) - Accessed via stairs that should be used like a ladder.
Bedroom #4 (loft): One regular Twin bed, one convertible Twin bed that pulls out to make into a King (two identical mattresses lay side by side on the same platform) - Accessed via stairs that should be used like a ladder.

There are two workstations. One of the bedrooms has a comfortable desk and chair with a large monitor that can connect to laptops with the provided cable. A second bedroom has a desk and chair only.

Connect with nature! Lay out by the private pool. Soak in the hot tub in cool weather. Take a walk outside. The landscape is designed to be in tune with the natural environment using xeriscaping principles. You will find huge shade trees surrounding the cabin and a sparkling pool with large deck overlooking the hill country landscape. The back porch is a great place to relax with friends. A fire pit nearby beckons gatherings most of the year. Follow the flagstone path and soak in the hot tub under the café lights. Relax while you pass the hours with a good book, a sip of iced tea, or grill up some steaks and have a glass of wine. Off the back porch there's a great chance you'll see deer, fox, coyote, armadillo, a flock of turkeys and other interesting wildlife pass along the creeks. There is a propane gas grill, a gas fire pit (pool deck), wood burning fire pit (across the creek from the house) and table and chairs for gathering or lounging out back.

Both bathrooms are en suite, meaning both bathrooms can be kept functionally private inside the bedroom areas.

SEASONAL SPA: The Spa is heated and functional from September 15th through May 31st. During the hot months of summer, the spa is drained and unavailable.

Kindly note:

- We are firm on our house rules and do not make exceptions. This includes, but is not limited to, our NO PET policy and our cancellation policy. Please do not request exceptions to these rules. If pets are seen on the property, you will be asked to vacate the property immediately and a fine will be assessed of $500.

- Small children and non-swimmers should never be left unattended outdoors where there is access to the pool.

- Furnishings and fixtures are sometimes replaced with newer items in an effort to keep Burning Creek a luxury retreat. Upon arrival, you may discover that furniture or fixtures in the pictures have been replaced by new items. These changes should not materially affect the use of the space and are always intended to improve the property
