Pictures are a little deceiving

There were two adults and three children ages seven, six, and three. Although we enjoyed our time there are some things you should know before booking. The pictures online show a kayak and hammock seemingly available for use. They are not. The kayak is locked in a shed and hammock is in a closet. There were blinds on the bedroom windows in the pictures and one room had them up but the other room does not. The room that doesn’t have the blinds up the sun rises in. The attic is pictured as clean but it is used for storage (which I understand) it was kinda a mess though. There are no dish towels for you to hand wash the dishes. It does clearly say to bring towels however we thought that meant lake towels and bath towels. We ended up buying two kitchen towels and leaving them there. We also cooked at the cabin and didn’t have some basic kitchen stuff such as measuring cups and pot holders. We had a great time in spite of minor inconveniences. If you’re looking for a lake directly on the lake this is not it but if you don’t mind a public beach a short walk away then this is it.
