We had a wonderful stay! There was a slight issue with the keypad upon arrival but they were very timely and wonderful to work with! Will definitely be staying in this beautiful and quiet little apartment right off the square in Carthage!
I loved this cute little getaway. When an issue arose with the lock not locking, the property manager was there within the hour to solve the problem. I highly recommend this beautiful place to stay if you are in Carthage!
Beautiful place. Comfortable. The air conditioner stopped working and the owners promptly provided a portable AC then had the main unit fixed the following day. They were very kind.
Absolutely perfect! We were looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway while our kids were at a nearby summer camp, and this was it. The property is super clean (and I'm kinda picky), cozy, and quiet. We immediately felt at home. Wish we had a few more nights!

Hi Sharla,
I wish you would have reached out to let us know you were experiencing difficulties with the thermostat. It's not locked. We live a few minutes away and would have been happy to help out. We're sorry that you were hot. We haven't had any complaints about the thermostat before or after you stayed. But thank you for letting us know in this review. We just wish we would have known during your 1 night stay.
Sincerely,
Dave and Carissa
They did an excellent job restoring the historial building in downtown carthage. The apartment was absolutely beautiful. Accommodations were over the top. I didn’t expect having cooking supplies available. Or even dinner plates. You can see that the quality of the restoration and the accommodation are there priority. Not to mention great customer care. We’ve made a family decision and we will be renting with them for all our visits.

Thank you! We do hope you stay with us for all of your future visits. We stay in our spaces ourselves and think about what we want when we travel. I'm glad you had the supplies you needed. We're always thinking about things we can add.
We had everything that was needed, and more. There were times that we were reluctant to leave the property for other activities and would have preferred staying in. We slept very well and hearing the train whistles in the distance was very nostalgic. We’ll definitely be back. Super Host!
We love this little quiet get-away. Dave and Carissa have done a great job of incorporating improvements. I especially like that our visit does not intrude on a neighborhood. Conveniently located just off the town square.
Property was perfect for us. Location was great for being able to walk around and see the shops. We couldn't have been happier with everything! Already planning to come back.
