Great beach rental

Perfect for a girls spring break trip.

After reading some of the older, I was nervous but once we arrived, we were pleased with it. Older reviews talk about carpet, the place has been updated to all wood floors. The floors were swept, mopped, and clean upon our arrival. Everything was clean. I've read how some do not like the layout with the 3rd bedroom being in the lower level not accessible to the rest of the condo and the entrance is separate and outside; however, this worked perfectly for our group. I am a mom with 5 high school seniors who wanted an all girls trip but weren't able to rent a place due to being under 25. The lower level room has it's own mini kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom which was perfect for me to stay in while the girls got to feel as though they had their "own place and trip" in the upper levels (I did go hang out with them often). The stove/oven broke on Tuesday while we were there. That was the only real "compliant" which isn't really a compliant as I know things happen. Maintenance came out first thing Wednesday morning and a new oven had to be ordered. I only "complain" because I had went to the grocery and bought several items to make in the oven. I had to throw that food away (we live over 10 hours away) and had the added expense of going out to eat on those days we planned to eat in. I know things happen to appliances and maintenance did come out immediately but a new oven couldn't come in before we left. My only recommendation for the owner is to replace the couch. It's definitely getting worn. This place was in a good location for us. A short distance to the beach. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. It had plenty of space and served our needs well. If we come back to Destin again, we will most likely book this place again.

Disgusting and unacceptable

Disgusting and unacceptable. After six hours of driving arrived at 11 PM. The townhouse had not been cleaned from the previous renters. Toilets had not been flushed all towels on the floor all sheets dirty. The bottom floor which gave us our extra bedroom and our extra shower was locked we could not enter it. One of the showers upstairs did not work. So we were without a entire floor of the home and only one shower worked in the unit. I tried to contact VRBO and Vacasa, many many times. The few people I got to speak with said they were sorry. They would let superiors know we had to go to Walmart at midnight and buy cleaning supplies sheets towels etc. and go to work on the unit at one in the morning. This is the most unacceptable situation you can imagine. How can any company run a business like this by not responding to help you?

Not what I expected

So property does not look like the picture you do get the view of the harbor but everything else just kind of loose OK refrigerator upstairs does not work so you have to walk up and downstairs to get food which was inconvenient there is a bubble in the top floor so be careful because we had somebody trim the third bedroom is on the other side of the stairs just several cosmetic issues that I thought I kind of got cheated on
