Prachtig huis vlakbij Mahebourg

Bijzonder vriendelijke en attente host. Stuurde ruim op tijd de Google maps locatie en zelfs een filmpje met de rijroute. Huis ligt net van de weg af in een dorp, prachtige tuin. Compleet inventaris.

Grand Bel air et non pas Mahébourg : source de confusion

Difficulté pour localiser la maison (pas de GPS précis jamais communiqué) mais une vidéo filmée à bord d'une voiture. Grande déception : annonce initiale 500m du centre de Mahébourg or 5km de cette ville dans le petit village de Bel air et pas proche de l'océan, donc obligation d'avoir un véhicule. L'environnement est pauvre, décharge à proximité, mosquée très active, un "bouibouis" grillagé et cadenassé à côté. Une simple serrure à chaque porte fenêtre ou baie vitrée facilitant l'accès à la maison. Inquiétude surtout les nuits. Belle maison mais très humide (odeur de renfermé) avec salpêtre dans 1 chambre et le bureau. Il manque des équipements (grille-pain, essoreuse à salade, cafetière électrique, etc., ...). Pas de penderie dans la 2ème chambre. Draps froissés dans les 2 chambres. Donc changés nous même ! Superbe machine à laver le linge mais sans son mode d'emploi …. A notre arrivée, pas d'eau aux robinets ! Pompe à eau trouvée tout seul en tâtonnant. jamais d'eau chaude à l'évier de la cuisine, ni aux 2 lavabos et eau chaude dans les douches rationnée. Prévoir adaptateurs de prises électriques. Conclusion : Séjour pas du tout apprécié. Le propriétaire a rejeté la responsabilité sur Google Maps (écrit sur WhatsApp) et par voie de conséquence sur le site Abritel. Quel culot de ne pas avoir vérifié la localisation précise de son annonce qui a été modifiée à la suite de nos observations. A FUIR !

Séjour en famille

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette maison spacieuse et confortable avec son magnifique jardin. Josh notre hôte a toujours été très réactif dès que nous avons eu besoin de lui. Nous y retournerons sûrement pour un nouveau séjour à l'île Maurice

Very Pleasant

Ideal short stay for us, wanting to be close to the Mahebourg area. Quiet area, with the occasional mosque chanting that added to the cultural aspect of the area. House was spacious, and we made use of the large verandah during most of our stay which overlooked the garden. Hosts were very welcoming, and attentive. Happy to recommend

Très bon séjour chez Josh

Grande maison confortable avec une grande varangue et un jardin arboré.. Certains équipements sont un peu vétustes (salles de bain notamment) mais pas de quoi gâcher le séjour. La proximité de la Mosquée avec l'appel à la prière à 4h00 du matin promet des réveils matinaux! En résumé c'est un très bon rapport qualité prix, Josh est très accueillant.

Well we certainly love travelling, and hosting!

Born and raised on this little island half of the world's map ignore. :( Our lovely beaches make up for it though. I live half an hour in a town close to the villa. It's either me or my parents who will take care of your every needs during your stay with us.

Why they chose this property

Because It is within a huge garden you will never find elsewhere. Most of the guests we have had would comment on how spacious the house is.

It's close to the airport and most importantly as to why you are on the island, it's very near one of the best lagoons on the island: Blue Bay.
