Kalispell Beauty

Wonderful experience in Kalispell. Property was exactly like the listing. An excellent place to stay with all the amenities that one could ask for. The owner was very helpful and available.

Great Host and Great Property

We met the owner the day of check in. He was super helpful with showing us how everything worked, electronics, washer and dryer, dishwasher etc. He made several recommendations on restaurants, grocery stores and places to hike and see nature. He also is very responsive with his phone and is easily accessible for any questions. I’m in the real estate business and this is also how I do business. I would go out of my way to rent from him again. Thanks!

A Husband and Wife Team who have appeared on Building Off the Grid have put their talents together to complete the most beautiful property in the Historic East Side of Montana. Going on 20 years of marriage the two of them were engaged on Ryan's Ranch in Montana's Swan Valley in 1998. Their love for Montana inspires their creative efforts daily as parents and artisans in the craft's they master. Ryan a Master Electrician and Builder and Mandy an accomplished interior designer make a home run team.

Why they chose this property

This guest house is on the same lot as a 100 year old mansion registered in the Montana National Register of Historical Properties. this gorgeous property is surrounded by other 100 plus year old homes also on the register. Enjoy quiet peaceful time while you are resting from your day working, hiking, fishing, skiing, boating, hunting, dining, shopping, or strolling though the east side tree lined streets taking in the century old architecture. the Bias Brewery and Kalispell Brewery are just a 5 minute walk so enjoying local brews are always suggested after a long day. I built this 2 bedroom as a place I would enjoy to stay on a special trip to somewhere like Beautiful Montana. Glacier Park West gate is only a 40 minute drive so this property gets you super close for daily trips into the park while enjoying the comfort of being able to walk to main street and the delicious bakeries and restaurants.

What makes this property unique

I fell in love with the house and when we decided to build the guest house we spared no expense. I am an avid architectural fan and worked hand in hand with the architect that designed this 2 bedroom to maximize space and comfort. The garage entry allows you to pull in, get out of your car and walk right into the house. the exterior finish blends seamlessly into the existing 100 year old classic Victorian styled mansion.
