Great place to view eclipse

We came to Waco to view the eclipse. Being out in the country was a wonderful viewing place. Property is only 10-15 minutes from places we wanted to go in Waco. The property was perfect for my daughter and me. We had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. The beds were very comfortable (only challenge was since I am 5' tall, I had a little difficulty getting into the "high" bed in the master bedroom downstairs.) The "internet tv access" was a little challenging. We missed being able to get local news which would be available with cable or Dish. We would definitely stay there again when we visit Waco.

Perfect getaway

Very quiet area. Easy check-in. Very clean, all the amenities you'll need. Would definitely stay again if visiting Waco.

Beautiful cabin in a lovely, rustic setting. Especially enjoyed seeing the red deer in the morning.

Great rustic farmhouse experience

We really enjoyed our stay at this recently renovated and very nicely decorated home on a deer farm. The house had a lot of rustic charm and the property provided a very unique and relaxing experience.

We are Jimmy and Andra Banks and live on our working deer ranch. We met during my senior year at Baylor University. Married for 27 years and have 3 sons ages 19, 21, and 23. Our passion for mission trips and the outdoors has opened our eyes to other countries and continents. We enjoy travelling overseas with our 3 sons.

Why they chose this property

We have owned our ranch for 25 years and after hosting family, friends and a couple of weddings, we have decided to offer the experience to guests.

What makes this property unique

This is a working deer ranch where you can see genetically improved red deer and possibly some axis deer as well. Depending on the time of year and our availability, touring the ranch to see fawns or trophy stags may be possible.
