Disappointed in the condo condition.

Flooring was coming up when your walked in and halfway down the hallway. It moved up and down when you walked on it. Dishwasher did not work. Living room tv did not work. Cold showers majority of the time. Feel I overpaid for this condo. Have stayed here in a different condo 2 years ago and did not have any issues then.

Great place but be prepared to buy supplies

The place was a perfect location, beautiful and clean but we had to buy extra supplies. The bare minimum they said the would supply like toilet paper, trash bags, laundry detergent and shampoo/conditioner was less than what they had stated on their site causing us to have to take time out of our vacation and run to the store and buy supplies. That was really annoying but everything else was great!

February in Destin 2022

Loved the location! Beautiful resort with easy and close access to the beach. I believe Destin has the prettiest, whitest, clean beaches in all of Florida! Both pools very nice. Large pool not heated; pool by ocean is heated. February a nice to go and avoid spring break crowds. Temps in low 70s during the day and 50s-60s at night. The Back Porch Restaurant on the beach had great food and Happy Hours!

Nice Beach Condo

Sterling Shores is conveniently located in the middle of the Destin strip. Nice pool and only takes a couple minutes to walk across the street to the beach. Nice condo that is clean and well kept

Amazing!!

Very easy to find, easy check in and out, and surprisingly clean. They even called the next morning after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed and if we needed anything else. Super friendly front desk staff. Balcony needs a little update on outside furniture as it's a little outdated, worn, and made my butt hurt after a little bit. But all in all was a gorgeous condo. Would definitely rent this one again. 😁 Made for a super relaxing vacation. Oh, and the view of the ocean was phenomenal! 😍

Not beach/ocean views

Wished we would have realized that this condo had no beach view only the Back Porch restaurant and ocean. Non smoking property was fine except the fact that the security guy would never say anything to certain races cooking cigars and cigarettes by the pool at the beach on the properties private section. It was clearly evident it was ok for some but not all. Will not stay there again.

Short trip to Destin

The unit was spacious, layout was nice open floor concept, beautiful views from deck, unit was clean. Beach was pretty and the grounds of the Sterling Shores were beautiful!!! Centrally located and would stay here again!!!

Spring Break 2021

Our group of 6 truly enjoyed our stay in this unit at Sterling Shores. The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil, appliance, pot, pan, bowl you can think of. The only thing we had to purchase was coffee filters. This two bedroom was spacious giving us plenty of room to spread out and separate when we needed to. The view of the beach, ocean, and grounds were wonderful. The elevator is located right outside the room which was a plus! I’d definitely stay here again.

Nice mini vacation!

We went for 3 days! The unit is pretty with an awesome view, location is great. Only bad thing were the pans they need ro buy some nonstick cookware because making breakfast was a challenge with everything sticking to their aluminum pans, but other than that it was great!

I’m not normally a reviewer, but felt I should share our experience. First off, Destin was gorgeous. The condo was very clean and the actual check in process was a breeze. However, I’m not sure we’d stay here again. I feel awful writing a semi-bad review, but I Want to be honest. I had a lot of trouble contacting the property owner prior to leaving for our trip, despite several attempts they never once emailed me back. I went through Vacasa and VRBO with no responses. They never returned my emails. The hot water in the condo was very short lived, and the kids weren’t able to enjoy the jacuzzi as the was would turn cold after about 2-3 minutes. Lastly one night we took the kids down for a swim about 8:30 but had to leave due to people smoking cigarettes AND MARIJUANA near the pool. We were very upset about this. We booked at Sterling Shores for its family reputation, and this clearly wasn’t that. That being said, the private beach access was amazing, and the staff we encountered could not have been nicer! Very clean resort and beach :)

Dream Vacation - Great Unit

Never been to Destin and what a home run we found in this unit and in Sterling Shores in general. The unit was roomy and clean with a outdoor patio that was HUGE and with an incredible view. The pool and amenities are top rate and the little snack shack near the beach was a real find. The young women who run it are awesome. Def be back
